Rakuten Inc., often known as the Amazon of Japan and the crypto forward firm, has allowed the crypto users to use the company’s pay service with crypto asset support, which means that users can now able to pay via Cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, ethereum and bitcoin cash.
The customers can now load up Rakuten pay accounts to experience the latest crypto service. The company is also giving away bonus points to people using Rakuten cash through crypto assets. Rakuten is Japanese electronic commerce and online retail company from Tokyo. The clients of Rakuten will now be able to have access to a wide range of services and products offered by Rakuten. People can also use the company’s travel services, Kobo e-books and mobile.

Crypto users can top up funds with digital assets through their Rakuten Cash buying app. Users can use the Rakuten crypto wallet to have access to Rakuten Cash through digital currency. The company also gives away bonus points to the customers using the Rakuten Cash buying function via cryptocurrencies.
As per the press release, the minimum amount of 1,000 yen ($10) and an upper limit of 10,000 yen per month is the minimum charge amount. The transactions can be done 24 hours a day and seven days a week through the Rakuten Pay app and the Rakuten crypto wallet.
To take advantage of the services, it is mandatory to open a physical trading account using the Rakuten wallet, and a smartphone app should be installed dedicated to trading. There is no fee charged for conversion. The company further adds that they are committed to improving the customer experience by providing new types of solutions to the people.
The company has been in the crypto sector since 2014. It has launched Rakuten Blockchain Lab (RBL) in Belfast, UK, in 2016. Later in 2018, the company bagged the crypto exchange project for 256 million yen. The customers can make transactions for crypto asset trading accounts like deposits/withdrawal of Japanese Yen and depositing/withdrawing crypto assets 24 hours a day and 365 days a year through the smartphone app.
