On Tuesday, during the Flagrant 2 podcast with Andrew Schulz and Akaash Singh, at first, when the host broached the topic of cryptocurrency, Jones feigned ignorance but immediately piqued the audience’s curiosity asking, “do you want the secrets?”
How Jones Acquired 10K BTC?
As a response to the audiences’ shouts of approval, the founder of the right-wing media group Infowars then recalled how he first received the BTC and then managed to lose his laptop. Bringing the RT host and bitcoin proponent, Max Keiser, into the story, Jones told us that ten years ago, Keiser gave him a laptop with 10,000 bitcoins and shared his belief that BTC is going to be the future global currency. At that time, the ‘Keiser Report’ host predicted BTC’s price to reach $400 thousand soon.
“I lost the laptop” and The Regrets
Except for the comment “I lost the laptop,” Jones gave no further details about events leading to or led by the loss of the laptop. He further added, at first, he refused to warm-up to the cryptocurrencies and just recently, i.e., February last year, joined the trend. The American far-right radio show host also confessed he regrets not joining the bitcoin market sooner.

Immediately following his ‘lost laptop’ comment, the show host Andrew Schulz proceeded to calculate the worth of 10,000 bitcoins today. Rounding up his calculations to an astounding $500 million, Schulz then laughingly criticized Jones, demanding he finds the laptop this instant. Being a talented crowd engager, Jones asked Schulz to slap him for his carelessness, which he delightfully complied with. Jones then exclaimed and followed the two light slaps with “I deserve it,” leaving the audience in bouts of laughter.
