  • The famous cryptocurrency exchange platform, FTX, is conducting a giveaway scheduled on February 13 in Super Bowl Ads. Super Bowl wants to draw more crypto interest, thus giving away a special place for crypto campaigns.
  • To take part in the giveaway, the interested individuals must follow FTX on Twitter and retweet the official announcement of the giveaway winners.
  • FTX’s Sam Bankma-Fried, who was looking to enter the Sports industry for some time now, said Sports enthusiasts are more likely to know about crypto than non-sports fans. He made the statement when he was purchasing the ad-time in October 2021.

FTX, a cryptocurrency exchange platform headquartered in The Bahamas, is organizing a giveaway on February 13 during Super Bowl LVI as part of its ad campaign. SuperBowl is the upcoming championship game of the National Football League for the 2021 NFL season.

Super Bowl Ads render a particular space to crypto giveaway and want to further attract more interest into cryptocurrency. For some time now, Sam Bankma-Fried, CEO of FTX, has been looking to enter the sports industry through crypto. In October 2021, at the time the CEO was purchasing the ad-time, he said it is highly likely that sports fans have more knowledge about crypto than non-sport fans. Adding, it is 3x more likely in the case of avid sports fans.

What Amount Of BTC Will Be Given Away?

Sam Bankman-Fried is known for his aggressive marketing tactics, and this time too, is no exception.

The number of Bitcoins that will be lent out will be decided on what time the ad comes on the T.V. screens of those watching in the Super Bowl, explained the exchange.

FTX simplified this with an example; for instance, FTX would give away 9.07 BTC if the ad comes at 9.02 pm. The exchange also promises it will tweet the commercial and pin the tweet as the ad airs to ensure everyone gets a fair chance.

The interested individual who wants to participate in the giveaway must follow FTX and retweet the pinned tweet on the official account before 11:59 pm EST when the ad airs on T.V.

There will be four winners who will get the notifications to claim the prizes afterwards. The campaign is available for all U.S. residents. The condition is that they must be open and get approval for FTX accounts.

FTX And Its History With Sport Campaigns

Product diversification, outstanding technology and sports are the key factors involved in making FTX the popular cryptocurrency exchange platform among crypto enthusiasts.

FTX was also the first crypto exchange to buy an ad for the Super Bowl. Soon after, another crypto exchange, Crypto.com, also joined the ongoing fairy and bought another ad space, making its presence felt in the U.S. market.

Following the purchase of naming rights to the home of the Miami Heats, former American Airlines Arena and renaming it FTX Arena, the exchange has become massively popular in the NBA- the U.S. professional basketball league.

It doesn’t end here; after becoming the league’s cryptocurrency exchange partner, the exchange has also made a place for itself in the U.S. professional baseball league – MLB. Since the partnership was successful, the exchange is now thinking of further expanding, fully utilizing its presence in the sports business.
