United by One Idea: WhiteBIT CEO Volodymyr Nosov Announced Cooperation to Help Raise Funds for Ukraine

Ukraine, one of the hottest spots in the world right now, has been experiencing brutal atrocities and terrifying human losses. Russian invasion that began on the 24th of February 2022 has taken away the homes of thousands of Ukrainians and keeps holding the population of the peaceful European country in fear and desperation. The whole civilized world observes the unbelievable reality in the heart of Europe and tries to somehow put effort into stopping it.

In May 2022, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky shared details of a special initiative to gather the whole world in an effort to support the people of Ukraine. To implement the project, the organizers have assembled a team of professionals united by the noble idea. Volodymyr Nosov, the CEO of the WhiteBIT exchange ecosystem, expressed the willingness to cooperate, hence offering his platform to be the springboard for the initiative. Let’s dive into the details of the large-scale partnership and learn more about the WhiteBIT exchange and other Nosov’s projects.

What is United24?

United24 is a large-scale project initiated by Volodymyr Zelensky that aims to become the main fundraising channel to enable anyone to contribute to Ukraine’s rescue and recovery. The main component of the initiative is the like-named United24 fundraising platform, which aims to provide a convenient, transparent, and accessible service for making donations in most national currencies of the world, as well as in 100 cryptocurrencies.

The initiative allows people from all over the world to donate with one click. The idea of the foundation is to unite the efforts of all those who want to protect the main human values by supporting Ukraine. The donation can be made by an individual, a company, or by a whole government. The concept is to provide a gate for effective donations.

The aid received goes to the accounts of the National Bank of Ukraine. NBU distributes the aid to the three priority directions: defense and mine-clearing, medical care, and recovery of Ukraine. Reports on the received donations are provided by the NBU every day, and information on the distribution of funds can be found weekly directly on the United24 website.

The Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine are responsible for the efficient and fair distribution of funds. Mykhailo Fedorov, the Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, is responsible for United24’s activities on behalf of the government.

The partnership of WhitePay and United24

The scale of the United24 initiative required a reliable and transparent company to support the idea and engage in a partnership. The Ukrainian WhiteBIT crypto exchange is not only the place to purchase cryptocurrency. The company was the one that offered its services in providing the platform for thorough monitoring and transaction processing. WhiteBIT is a European crypto exchange that has a broad ecosystem of services for operations with digital assets. Created and developed by Volodymyr Nosov in Kharkiv, the IT capital of Ukraine, WhiteBIT has been helping its mother country since the war broke. Hence, the company was one of the first candidates to conclude a partnership with the Presidential initiative. The main role in providing the service for the fundraising platform was given to the native WhiteBIT company, WhitePay.

WhitePay is a service for processing crypto operations. Volodymyr Nosov, the CEO of WhiteBIT, emphasizes: “We are always willing to offer the services of our company and contribute to the victory of Ukraine, our beloved country. Hence, there were no doubts that WhitePay would conduct the partnership. We understand the responsibility and trust that are upon us, and we also understand that such a noble initiative requires a trustworthy partner. WhitePay is a mature and reliable service provider that will help process all donations in crypto and guarantee the transparency and effectiveness of operations.

Nosov continued: “People from all over the world will be able to send almost any crypto in just a few clicks and be sure that their funds will be safely directed to the needs of Ukraine. We have made sure people do not have difficulties while making a transaction of a digital asset by creating a simple and user-friendly system.”

Volodymyr Nosov has repeatedly emphasized the importance of helping Ukraine during the war, as the world needs to maintain the resonance around the tragedy. Nosov highlighted: “We must hold the attention of the whole world, and we will make everything possible to help the noble projects like United24. WhiteBIT and other our products will continue offering our services to gather more funds and provide more help to the Ukrainian people.

WhiteBIT helping Ukraine during the war

Volodymyr Nosov’s companies that were created in Kharkiv support its city and the country by a personal initiative of the CEO. The exchange has been engaging in humanitarian help since the 24th of February. The Kharkiv-based WhiteBIT exchange and WhitePay launched their fundraising platform in February to gather funds in cryptocurrencies. Volodymyr Nosov also mentioned that the raised funds are distributed to the humanitarian needs and the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The social media of the exchange and WhitePay constantly post the reports about the gathered funds and about the users of the exchange who help distribute the humanitarian aid in Kharkiv and other cities of Ukraine.

Volodymyr Nosov highlighted that absolutely anyone who holds digital assets and is willing to support Ukraine could make a crypto donation from any part of the world.

Moreover, the WhiteBIT exchange has concluded the memorandum with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to help those Ukrainians who were forced to leave the country because of the war. Another cooperation WhiteBIT initiated was a partnership with the Diia governmental service. Diia is the first-ever state service that offers storing documents for the Ukrainian citizens in the mobile app, which minimizes bureaucracy and maximizes the convenience of document processing. Thanks to the partnership, the WhiteBIT users can now verify their identity in a few clicks via the Diia app. Among all the important functions that verification gives access to, there is a possibility to carry out operations with national currencies. It enables the users to transfer funds fast and easily and avoid difficulties with the current banking restrictions.

The WhiteBIT exchange continues to engage with projects raising funds for the humanitarian needs and the needs of AFU. The latest collaboration is the fundraising campaign for Serhiy Prypula Charity Foundation and many more.

Volodymyr Nosov and his team of professionals do not settle on the achievements, continuing to look for opportunities that can bring peace to the Ukrainian people.
