Cardano opened up a new world of staking and delegation with Shelley’s deployment on mainnet in July. Tim Harrison, the Marketing Director For Input Output Hong Kong (IOHK) stated new offer details about the Delegation of Cardano.
The delegation is segmented into purpose pools and incubator pools.
To ease and revitalize new staking tools, Harrison stated that IOHK would increase the parameter K to 500, which currently holds up to 150, limiting the pool size of 210 million ADA. IOHK, who is in charge of the Cardano development, declared that it will withdraw all its staking tools except for one to have a public presence.
Whipping up decentralization in Cardano.
ADA upto 15% which is held by the company will go for staking distribution in purpose pools and incubator pools. The company will succor purpose pools if they are committed to support IOHK broader mission of economic incorporation, decentralization, and sustainability of technology said Tim Harrison. Mission, geographic location, and technological capabilities are some criteria on which these purpose pools will be selected.
IOHK plans to use this blockchain technology by placing staking tools in developing countries that will be serviceable to such countries by using renewable energy. On the other end of the thread, incubator pools will be selected and supported with the very objective of diversity maximization of the ecosystem’s participants.
IOHK made it clear that incubator and purpose pools will be sharing the staking pools and not the other way around.

“Call for Delegation” will be held on December 10 in which all those who are looking forward to lending a hand in this new IOHK plan of action will be able to participate. The call will sustain during 2021 and will be held quarterly. Harrison brought up that further information will be revealed on 3rd December.
