Litecoin ETFs gained traction as the SEC acknowledged Grayscale’s filing, fueling speculation of approval. Analysts see LTC breaking $110, targeting $176 and $244 if momentum builds.
Litecoin ETF Moves Closer to Approval
Litecoin ETFs are in focus after the SEC acknowledged Grayscale’s 19b-4 filing, a key step toward approval. Analysts believe LTC could be the following altcoin ETF to gain regulatory clearance, with a potential price breakout ahead.

On February 6, the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) submitted the 19b-4 form. This form was filled to list and trade Grayscale’s Litecoin Trust as a spot ETF. The SEC’s acknowledgment of the filing starts a 240-day countdown, during which regulators will either approve or deny the request.

Per Bloomberg ETF expert James Seyffart, the SEC’s move could result in positive for the crypto ETFs under the new administration. This follows Gary Gensler’s departure, which many in the industry see as an opening for increased Litecoin ETFs approvals.
If the Litecoin ETFs get the green light, it could drive significant institutional demand. According to CoinCodex, the price of LTC could reach $244 by 2025, a 123% increase from current levels.
Analysts Predict LTC Will Rally—Can It Break $176?
The Litecoin price has flashed bullish signals. With this, some analysts predict a breakout toward $176 if it clears the $110 resistance.
According to InvestingHaven, LTC’s next price target sits between $90.10 and $191.06 in 2025. This depended on institutional demand and market conditions.

According to Fibonacci extension levels, Litecoin’s next price targets are $154 and $176. It possesses the potential long-term move toward $244 if bullish momentum continues. The 1.618 Fibonacci extension sits at $154, making it a critical level to watch in the coming weeks.

Additionally, on-chain data suggests strong buying interest at current levels, with whales accumulating LTC as it consolidates around $100. The combination of ETF speculation, technical indicators, and increasing accumulation could position Litecoin for a significant rally.
Will a Litecoin ETF Trigger a Major Price Breakout?
If Litecoin secures an ETF, it could follow Bitcoin and Ethereum’s trajectory, which saw substantial price increases after ETF approvals. Institutional investors would have direct access to LTC, increasing liquidity and demand.
Historically, ETF approvals have been a major catalyst for crypto price surges. The approval of Bitcoin ETFs in January 2024 led to record-breaking inflows. Furthermore, Ethereum ETFs recently saw $500 million added in a week, marking their third-largest single-day inflow.
The market is watching closely with Litecoin’s 19b-4 filing now acknowledged by the SEC. If approval follows, LTC could see a strong rally. The token could potentially surpass previous resistance levels and target new highs.
However, resistance at $110 remains a critical test. If LTC fails to break above this level, a p90 or lower pullback will occur before the next leg up.
The Litecoin ETFs prospect and bullish technical indicators position the asset for a potential rally. Analysts see $176 as a short-term target, while long-term projections place LTC near $244 by 2025.
