Shiba Inu Price Drops, But Can It Surge to $1 In the Next 30 Days?

Key Insights:

  • SHIB holders exceed 1.5M as token burns boost scarcity and demand.
  • SHIB forms a quadruple bottom pattern, hinting at a bullish breakout.
  • A 750% burn rate surge reduces supply, strengthening price outlook.

Shiba Inu (SHIB) price continues to experience price pressure as investors assess market conditions. The coin has erased recent gains, revisiting its March 14 low. However, on-chain data suggests that investor interest remains strong, with the total number of SHIB holders surpassing 1.5 million. This growth, combined with an increasing burn rate, could influence future price movements.

SHIB Holders Surpass 1.5 Million Amid Scarcity

Data from Etherscan confirms that SHIB adoption is rising despite its recent price struggles. The number of unique SHIB holders has now exceeded 1.5 million, reinforcing its position as one of the most widely held meme coins. This increase in adoption signals sustained confidence among retail and institutional investors.

Additionally, SHIB’s burn rate has jumped by 750%, with 17.1 million tokens burned in a single day. Two significant burns last week removed 1 billion SHIB from circulation, further reducing supply. Token burns aim to create scarcity, potentially driving price appreciation as the remaining supply becomes more limited.

Technical Indicators Suggest a Bullish Breakout

Shiba Inu price action presents signs of a potential rebound. The coin has formed a quadruple bottom pattern, which is often seen as a strong reversal signal. This formation, which has held since July 2023, suggests that sellers are struggling to push SHIB below a critical support level.

Moreover, SHIB price previously broke out of a falling wedge pattern in mid-March, rallying to $0.00001566. The current retracement could be a break-and-retest formation, where the price revisits the upper boundary of the wedge before resuming an upward move. If this scenario plays out, SHIB could target new resistance levels.

Analyst Identifies a Symmetrical Triangle Formation

CryptoELITES, a market analyst, highlighted a symmetrical triangle pattern in the SHIB chart. The analysis positioned SHIB at $0.000023, near the lower trendline of the triangle, calling it a “strong buy zone.”

While CryptoELITES projects a 17x increase to $0.000238, a closer look at the triangle’s height suggests a more realistic target of $0.000043. Nevertheless, the overall outlook remains positive and is boosted by the weekly 12.61% price increase of SHIB and sustained demand for Shibarium.

Realistic Targets and Market Sentiment

Despite optimistic predictions, a surge to $1 in 30 days appears unlikely. At the current price of $0.00002857, reaching $1 would require a market cap of nearly $589 trillion, far exceeding the entire crypto market’s valuation.

Other conservative predictions from platforms such as Changelly put it at $0.0000326 by the year 2025 and a potential 41% rise. Shibarium’s adoption and continuous burning of its tokens are the key to a long-term uptrend for the coin.

Therefore, if SHIB price continues to have high on-chain usage and surges past key technical levels, its gain can be moderate. On the other hand, under rather favourable conditions, the potential increase is 2x – 3x not far off.
