Key Insights:
- Silver’s growing demand across industries could lead to a significant price surge.
- Bitcoin faces resistance at $92,000, with analysts predicting potential for future growth.
- Whale activity signals a bullish trend, while some analysts warn of a potential downside.
Cryptocurrencies faced significant downward pressure on Thursday, as President Donald Trump’s announcement of new tariffs triggered volatility across the financial markets. Bitcoin, the leading cryptocurrency, fell by 5%, reaching a price of $81,479.77, according to Coin Metrics.
Similarly, Ether dropped by 7%, while Solana’s token experienced a sharp decline of 13%. The stock market also felt the effects, with the S&P 500 heading for its worst day since September 2022. In particular, shares of major crypto-related companies, Coinbase and MicroStrategy, dropped by 9% and 7%, respectively.
Silver’s Rising Value Amidst Crypto Uncertainty
While the crypto market reels from this pressure, Robert Kiyosaki, the author of Rich Dad Poor Dad, has recently drawn attention to silver’s growing value. Kiyosaki asserts that silver now holds more investment potential than both gold and Bitcoin. According to him, the demand for silver is on the rise, driven by its widespread application in various industries. Unlike gold and Bitcoin, which have relatively stable supplies, silver’s availability is decreasing, which could lead to a significant price surge.
The demand for silver is particularly high in sectors such as solar energy, electric vehicles, and electronics. Silver’s exceptional conductivity makes it a key component in the efficient operation of these technologies. Additionally, the metal’s value extends beyond consumer goods, as it is also used in medicine, water purification, and military technology.
Despite its critical role, Kiyosaki believes that silver’s price has been artificially suppressed over the years, keeping it affordable for industrial use despite the rising demand. While gold has reached record prices, silver remains substantially lower than its past peaks, with Kiyosaki predicting it could reach $70 per ounce by 2025 and potentially soar to $200 in the coming years.
Bitcoin Consolidation and Potential for Future Growth
Meanwhile, Bitcoin continues to trade within a defined price range, reminiscent of its behavior in the first quarter of 2017. Market analyst TedPillows compared Bitcoin’s current consolidation phase to the one observed in early 2017, which led to a 1,300% surge by December of that year.

The pattern suggests that Bitcoin may be preparing for another significant breakout once it clears resistance levels, particularly around $92,000. Analysts predict that this breakout could set the stage for a potential climb towards $100,000, provided that buyer demand remains strong.
MicroStrategy, led by Michael Saylor, continues to support Bitcoin’s long-term outlook. The company recently purchased 22,048 BTC for $1.92 billion, increasing its holdings to 528,185 BTC, valued at $35.63 billion as of March 30, 2025. This move highlights MicroStrategy’s confidence in Bitcoin’s future as a store of value.
Additionally, data has shown a correlation between Bitcoin and global M2 growth, suggesting that increasing liquidity in the global market could fuel future rallies in cryptocurrencies.

This aligns with historical patterns, where rising liquidity has supported price increases in risk assets like Bitcoin.
Bitcoin Market Signals and Bearish Outlooks
Despite the bullish predictions, some analysts are cautious. Faibik, who identifies as a market commentator, recently predicted a bullish trend for the crypto asset, which he suggested could have a high of $109,000 by the end of April.

As for him, if the falling and rising wedge pattern on the Bitcoin chart unfolds, the upside is expected, and it could reach levels more than 30% above today’s value.
On the contrary, Peter Brandt has been bearish about Bitcoin saying that BTC has formed a bear wedge pattern. Which is now fully reversed. This pattern can be used to predict that a downside target of $65,635 could be reached. If Bitcoin (BTC) does not get past the resistance level.
Meanwhile, whale activity on the Bitfinex exchange has raised eyebrows. A recent market analyst, Cole Garner has noted that the change in price of Bitcoin spot margin longs. And shorts has considerably risen, pointing to a possibility of a bull run. As mentioned by Garner, such pattern was observed prior to large rallies. And can be an indicator of a further upward movement.
