Ethereum ETF Inflows Send Positive Signals
ETFInstitute co-founder Nate Geraci has spotlighted a new milestone by the spot ETH exchange-traded funds (ETFs).
Geraci announced to his followers on X that the spot ETFs accumulated funds of over $600 million on Thursday, August 14, 2025. This is the fourth-best inflow day seen since the ETFs launched in July 2024.

Geraci highlighted that 3 of the top 4 inflow days have occurred this week. Notably, approximately $3 billion in new funds flowed into the market over the past 4 trading sessions.
The huge inflows into the spot ETH ETFs signal confidence among institutional investors. This behavior strongly suggests long-term conviction, most likely in anticipation of a larger macro trend.
With institutions getting more involved, the Ethereum price is expected to climb higher. ETH price increased from $3,914 on August 8 to $4,615. This marks a 17.9% growth in less than a week.
This rally, occurring simultaneously with the increased institutional activity, hints at a continuation of the ETH bull run.
At press time, ETH is priced at $4,615, down 1.6% over the previous day. Despite the fall in prices, ETH has surpassed Netflix in market capitalization. Currently, Ethereum crypto ranks among the 25 biggest assets globally.
Additionally, ETH has found current support at $4,667, hinting at a possible move towards $5,000 soon.
Ethereum Crypto Dominance and Treasury Accumulation Trend
Amid the rising momentum in the market, crypto analyst EGRAG CRYPTO recently emphasized that Ethereum dominance is sending strong signals.
The analyst noted that XRP could flip ETH based on the current ETH dominance. He posted a chart that showed the Ethereum crypto dominance at Fibonacci 0.38.
EGRAG believes the metric will soon retest Fib 0.5 while aiming for the upper target at Fib 0.888.
EGRAG suggested that breaking the 0.8 Fib level could benefit XRP, increasing dominance. He claims that XRP will flip ETH dominance, achieving a 20% market dominance.
This bold prediction implies that the market capitalization of XRP would surpass Ethereum’s.
Currently, ETH has a market cap of $561.4 billion, while XRP comes behind with $184.7 billion. Thus, for XRP to flip ETH, the price would need to rise above $10, while Ethereum’s growth slows.
For now, XRP surpassing ETH seems unlikely, particularly with Ethereum’s institutional backing and ecosystem strength.
Samson Mow Disagrees Against ETH Flipping BTC
Bitcoin bull Samson Mow also joined the Ethereum crypto dominance discussion. Mow emphasized that ETH flipping BTC, as some suggested, will never happen. However, he noted that Ethereum validators would exit the network by unstaking their ETH.

Mow highlighted that 768,400 ETH, valued at roughly $3.5 billion, were in the validator exit queue as of August 14, 2025.
This surge in exits is linked to the recent rally in ETH, with the price reaching a new high of over $4,600. Validators who staked at lower prices may be unstaking to lock in profits.
Based on Mow’s perspective, the unstaking could signal short-term selling pressure on ETH. This could result when unstaked tokens spark an increased supply.
If a corresponding demand does not match the supply, Ethereum prices could experience downtrends.
Mow further predicted that the ETHBTC ratio may revert to 0.03 or lower. This prediction suggests capital may flow from ETH to BTC.
