Ethereum price is gaining strength above $4,500 while nearing the major $4,800-$4,880 resistance zone. Analysts are looking to this area as the gateway to the next strong rally.
With more institutional money coming in and positive charts supporting ETH price, experts believe that a long-range target of $10,000 is still possible this cycle.
Ethereum Price Targets $4,880 Next
Ethereum price reclaimed $4,500 and now targets a major test near $4,800-$4,880. Analyst Nami noted that a daily close above $4,880 could confirm a significant breakout.
He said this level had capped upside moves multiple times. A strong close above that level might trigger momentum with the possibility of a short squeeze for bulls. Support from $4,200 to $4,400 continues to absorb dips and withstand deeper pullbacks.

More so, Nami also focused on the importance of trading volume and institutional participation. These elements will be used to confirm whether the breakout is caused by real demand and sustainable market interest.
With these buyers holding key support, Ethereum price still seems to be poised for another upward move should key resistance give way.
Bullish Candle Signals Strong Weekly Movement
Man of Bitcoin, a well-known crypto analyst, examined the 1-week chart of Ethereum and indicated a newly developed bullish engulfing candle. This pattern showed buying pressure and the possibility of continuation of the uptrend.
Notably, his chart placed key Fibonacci targets between $5,383 and $6,879.36. He indicated that the breakout from the recent consolidation phase strengthens the likelihood of reaching these higher levels.

The bullish candle represents a strong move of reversal from recent weakness. Historically, such formations have often presided over many weeks of rallies.
Ethereum price closing above $4,384 weekly adds some confidence to the bullish case. Sustaining this momentum might push gains further to the next Fibonacci levels in the coming sessions.
Falling Wedge Setup Eyes $4,900 Short-Term
Meanwhile, The Cryptomist observed a falling wedge pattern forming on Ethereum’s hourly chart. She expected a supportive bounce near the wedge’s apex to drive a breakout.
Her projection puts the next upside target at $4,900 if the pattern plays out. Falling wedges often come before bullish reversals, provided that the support levels are strong.

This short-term setup added an immediate upside move to a larger bullish structure observed by other analysts. The rebound would confirm the overall market sentiment and possibly trigger additional rallies.
A strong intraday push above the wedge resistance would also be attractive to altcoin participation. The Cryptomist noted that such a move could lift the wider crypto market alongside Ethereum price.
Long-Term Path Toward $10,000 Cycle High
Meanwhile, Cas Abbe offered a more general view, forecasting Ethereum might reach $10,000 at this market cycle. He acknowledged that there could be short-term dips but emphasized that the long-term uptrend is intact.

He emphasized the fact that the $4,000 level has been thoroughly reclaimed and that institutional inflows and treasury buying will be on the rise. These factors provide strong foundational support for Ethereum.
Cas Abbe’s monthly chart showed a long-term breakout out of a multi-year consolidation. The pattern is similar to previous cycles in which big rallies followed prolonged accumulation.
He believed the question was not whether Ethereum price hit $10,000 but when. As institutional participation gains momentum, this long-term bullish narrative continues to develop.
