Following a massive 2000% rally last week, the ASTER price has seen a pullback amid the broader crypto market correction. Market experts believe that ASTER presents a buy-the-dip opportunity with strong whale accumulation recently. Furthermore, the Aster blockchain is hitting new milestones with daily perpetual trading volumes hitting $46 billion.
ASTER Price Shows Buy The Dip Opportunity
Following the top at $2.4 last week, the ASTER price has been moving sideways and is currently consolidating around $1.8 levels. ASTER is continuing its downward trajectory, in line with a prediction made two days ago using Elliott Wave analysis. The move from bottom to top and back to bottom has so far aligned with the projected path.
Currently, ASTER’s price needs to maintain support at around $1.70–$1.75. A failure to hold this level could see the token drop further toward the $1.57–$1.63 range, where significant buying pressure is expected.

Another popular crypto analyst Altcoin Sherpa, noted that ASTER price appears relatively solid at current levels. However, broader market conditions, particularly Bitcoin’s stability, may limit upside potential. The analyst said that he retains about 25% of their original holdings while monitoring liquidity and market strength.
Whales, Mr. Beast But the ASTER Price Dips
Onchain analytics platform Onchain Lens reported that a single whale has significantly increased its ASTER holdings over the past two days. The investor purchased 5 million ASTER, valued at $10 million, from Gate.io most recently.
In total, the whale has acquired 55 million ASTER for approximately $115.48 million. The current market value of these holdings stands at $102.3 million, reflecting an unrealized loss of $13.18 million.

Despite short-term market volatility, the activity highlights continued institutional or large-scale interest in ASTER.
On the other hand, popular YouTube influencer MrBeast has reportedly purchased 538,384 $ASTER tokens, valued at approximately $990,000, over the past three days.

On-chain data shows that MrBeast deposited 1 million USDT into the Aster network using his public wallet 0x9e67. He also created a new wallet 0x0e8A, subsequently withdrawing 538,384 ASTER. Analysts estimate the average purchase price for the tokens was around $1.87.
Aster Reimburses Traders After XPL Perpetual Contract Glitch
Aster has fully compensated users affected by an XPL perpetual contract anomaly, issuing reimbursements in USDT. The platform has not disclosed the total amount reimbursed.
The incident occurred during a sharp price rally on September 25 at around 11 p.m. UTC, when XPL surged from $1.30 on other exchanges to over $4.
Backed by YZi Labs, linked to Changpeng Zhao, Aster confirmed on X that it had identified unusual price movements in the XPL perpetual pair. The exchange assured users that all funds were secure and that a full review was underway, with impacted traders receiving full compensation for any losses.

The developments come after Plasma’s mainnet launch and the debut of its native XPL token on Thursday. At launch, the network reported over $2 billion in stablecoin total value locked (TVL), ranking Plasma among the top 10 blockchains by stablecoin liquidity. Meanwhile, XPL quickly reached a fully diluted valuation exceeding $12 billion.
