Inflows into spot Ethereum ETF shot up significantly on Monday, September 29, as overall crypto market sentiment improves with ‘Uptober’ rally ahead. Ethereum ETFs See $547 Million in Inflows, Fidelity Leads
After a week of outflows, spot Ethereum ETFs clocked a staggering $547 million in inflows on September 29. The Fidelity Ethereum Fund (FETH) led the inflows at $202 million, with BlackRock’s ETHA coming second at $154 million, as per data from Farside Investors. The FETH share price surged 4% yesterday, closing at $41.87 during yesterday’s closing.

BlackRock’s Ethereum ETF (ETHA) recorded net inflows of 36,966 ETH, valued at approximately $154.2 million. Trading volume for the fund reached $1.4 billion, reflecting strong investor interest.
Ethereum ETF issuers have been eagerly waiting for staking approval from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). If approved, this could further boost the overall fund yield and drive greater institutional flows.
BlackRock to Amend iShares Ethereum ETF
As per the latest Bloomberg report, BlackRock has filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to amend its iShares Ethereum ETF (ETHA). The move comes as BlackRock’s Bitcoin ETF recently surpassed crypto derivatives exchange Deribit to become the top venue for BTC options.
As per the filing on Monday, September 29, Nasdaq is seeking to adjust the iShares Ethereum Trust to bring ETHA under the SEC’s generic listing standards. If approved, the ETFs would operate under these broader standards rather than the original filing terms.
In a related development, the CBOE BZX Exchange submitted a notice of filing for immediate effectiveness with the SEC. It includes proposed amendments to the VanEck Bitcoin ETF, 21Shares Ethereum ETF, Fidelity Ethereum Fund, and VanEck Ethereum ETF.
ETH Price Bounces Back Eyeing Upside to ATH
ETH price has staged a strong 10% upside from the lows of $3,800 on the weekly chart, as bulls eye further upside to all-time highs. Market analysts noted that bulls must break past $4,250 resistance for a sustained upside.
Crypto analyst Ted Pillows reported that the ETH price has successfully reclaimed the $4,050 support level. Pillows noted that the next key resistance for ETH is $4,250. Thus, surpassing it could pave the way for further upside in the cryptocurrency. However, he warned that failure to reclaim $4,250 may result in a pullback toward the $4,000 support level.

On the other hand, crypto analyst Daan Crypto Trades echoed similar sentiments, noting that the ETH price is holding steady so far. ETH has approached the mid-range and the significant $4,300 level, which was a key price point during the previous consolidation. Analysts also point to the 4-hour 200 MA/EMA acting as resistance just above this level.

Daan highlighted that for ETH to reach the range high, it would need to flip approximately $4,350. However, the crucial support to maintain lies near the range low of around $4,065.
