Litecoin Over Zcash, Canary Capital CEO Breaks Silence on Privacy Hype

Canary Capital Chief Executive Officer Steven McClurg shared new observations on recent privacy coin activity.

His remarks came after the sharp move in the Zcash market during the past two months.

He explained why Litecoin may serve users better for privacy in regions such as the United States and the United Kingdom.

New Look at Litecoin, MWEB, and the Zcash Move

It is worth noting that Litecoin, in place of Zcash, became part of a wider discussion after Steven McClurg reviewed recent market trends.

He returned to the subject because the Zcash price began to rise about two months ago. His review led him to two clear points.

Essentially, digital asset Litecoin stood out to him because it has more users across different regions.

MWEB also offers a simple way for people to choose private wallets and private transactions.

He noted that this made Litecoin easier to use for privacy needs in the United States and the United Kingdom. His view placed Litecoin as his preferred option for privacy in both regions.

The second point focused on Zcash. The sharp move in the Zcash market raised concerns for him.

He described the current rise as a pump-and-dump scheme that might lead to a rug pull. His warning came at a time when traders were already beginning to profile the sudden moves in the Zcash chart.

Market watchers added more detail to the technical view. Analyst Eric Van Tassel said the Zcash chart formed a macro ascending triangle.

The pattern could remain in place until December. He said the price may fluctuate within the pattern for some time.

His view suggested that the long run could still hold strength even if the short run shows uncertainty.

These points show that the debate around the recent Zcash trend has more than one side.

Compliance, ease of use, and chart structure all remain part of the ongoing discussion.

Vitalik Buterin Shares a Clear View on Privacy

Vitalik Buterin added his voice to the ongoing debate on privacy in crypto. He said that privacy is not a feature but hygiene.

His message pointed to the idea that privacy should work as a basic part of any blockchain system, not as an extra layer.

His statement drew immediate responses from observers. Some agreed with his view and said that privacy should be a starting point for any modern system.

One comment explained that privacy should not be treated as an upgrade but as the baseline for users.

Others expanded the idea in a different way. One response said the message was strong but added that privacy still depends on the system in place.

The comment compared privacy to basic public infrastructure. Clean water needs pipes, and clean air needs filters.

In his view, users can try to keep good hygiene, but if the system around them is weak, the effort becomes difficult.

Notably, these reactions demonstrate that the discussion surrounding privacy extends beyond cryptocurrencies like Litecoin and Zcash.

Zcash price prediction talks grew stronger after new updates from the market. One major update came from Cypherpunk Technologies.

The company, backed by Tyler Winklevoss and Cameron Winklevoss, announced a $50 million Zcash treasury plan a few weeks ago. This move brought stronger institutional interest to the asset.

Another major factor was the upcoming Zcash halving on November 28. The halving will reduce the number of new coins released into the market.

Lower supply will make an asset more scarce. It is worth noting that this could support demand over time.

Past halving events in other major coins often led to long rallies, but the timing of such moves can differ.

Technical views did not paint a fully strong picture. Some market observers said the chart still looked weak and could show sharp swings.

Short-term traders need to balance the long-term trends with near-term movements. However, caution is advocated considering strong fundamentals do not always create quick gains.
