The report also noted that Bitcoin would alone account for 70% of the gains. It pegs a 2030 Bitcoin valuation at $16 trillion, suggesting Bitcoin price could 9x from here. In the report, Ark Invest noted:

Ark Invest stated that Bitcoin is maturing as an institutional asset class. Bitcoin ETF inflows and treasury firms have increased their share of BTC’s total supply from 8.7% to 12% in 2025.

The asset manager also added that sectors like DeFi, stablecoins, and tokenized RWAs)could drive further adoption. Smart contract platforms like Ethereum and Solana would benefit the most from it.
ARK forecasts these platforms could expand at a 54% compound annual growth rate to reach $6 trillion by 2030. It added that smart contract chains currently generate around $192 billion in annualized revenue.
Bitcoin Price Bear Market Cycle Ends Soon
Cathie Wood spoke in her CNBC interview. She said BTC is nearing the end of its bear cycle. She described it as the shallowest in history. She further added that the downside phase for the Bitcoin price has already played out.
Wood said any retest of the $80,000 to $90,000 range would likely be limited and “successful.” She suggested that it could mark one of Bitcoin’s mildest pullbacks on record.
As per Cathie Wood, her outlook is based on the key macro shifts currently in the market. Wood said Bitcoin is no longer moving through a typical halving-driven cycle.
Wood pointed to several key factors. She noted a new global monetary system challenging fiat currencies. She highlighted rapid tech progress and crypto’s rise as an institutional-backed asset class.
As per Wood, the Bitcoin price is forming a bottom and is ready for its next move higher.
Key Macro Shifts to Support Crypto Market Rally
Cathie Wood said she sees a “Goldilocks” backdrop emerging for US markets. She argued that the economy has absorbed a rolling recession. Housing, manufacturing, and small businesses felt the strain. Consumer sentiment also reflected the downturn.
Wood said investors may be underestimating several potential tailwinds heading into 2026. This includes tax cuts and large refunds in Q1. It also reflects a new corporate investment cycle. Deregulation adds further momentum to growth.
As per Wood, lower interest rates and easing inflation as additional supportive factors. This could bring renewed strength in risk assets, thereby driving the crypto market higher.
The cryptocurrency market is already showing some strength after Trump pulled back the EU tariffs over the Greenland issue. After plunging to $87,000 yesterday, the Bitcoin price has once again managed to bounce back to $90,000 levels.
