Binance Coin Price Prediction as BNB Chain Removes Tokens Worth $932M

BNB Chain completed its 36th quarterly burn on July 15 and removed 1.61 million BNB from circulation. The transaction carried a value of about $932 million at the recorded market price. Total supply fell to 133.17 million BNB after the event. Meanwhile, BNB traded near $580 within nearby support and resistance levels after buyers defended recent four-hour gains.

BNB Chain Cuts Supply Through 36th Burn

BNB Chain removed 1,615,827.795 BNB through its latest Auto-Burn event. The network valued the tokens at about $931.7 million during the transaction. Total supply declined to 133,166,127.91 BNB after the burn.

According to BNB Chain’s previous Auto-Burn announcement, the 35th quarterly burn removed 1.57 million BNB valued at approximately $1.02 billion because BNB traded at a higher market price during that period.

Following the Lorentz, Maxwell, and Fermi network upgrades, BNB Chain updated the Auto-Burn calculation to account for the faster block production schedule while preserving the protocol’s target of reducing total supply to 100 million BNB, according to the project’s documentation.

The formula operates separately from Binance exchange operations. BNB Chain uses the average token price and BSC block production to calculate each reduction. Higher prices can lower token quantity even when dollar value stays elevated.

Future Burns Move Directly to BSC

The 36th burn introduced a new process for future quarterly events. BNB Chain now carries out burns directly on BNB Smart Chain after completing its Fusion transition. The network sends the tokens to the established black hole address.

The process removes those tokens from circulation permanently. BNB Chain adopted this method to keep future burns within the main BSC network.

Recent Lorentz, Maxwell, and Fermi upgrades increased the chain’s block production speed. BNB Chain adjusted the Auto-Burn formula after those upgrades. The changes preserve the original burn design under the faster block schedule.

Gas Fee Burns Add Another Supply Cut

According to the official BNB Chain BEP-95 burn tracker, the mechanism has permanently removed approximately 291,000 BNB since its launch.

The quarterly and real-time systems follow separate methods. Auto-Burn uses price and block production data. BEP-95 uses transaction fees generated through activity on BSC.

BNB also supports transaction fees, staking, and governance across the broader ecosystem. Network use generates ongoing gas fees that feed the BEP-95 burn. Quarterly cuts follow a fixed formula instead of daily transaction demand. These parallel routes create scheduled and activity-based supply reductions.

BNB Price Holds Near Key Resistance

BNB traded near $580.40 on the four-hour chart after rallying over 3% in 7 days. Buyers held the price above the $576 area after a rebound from levels near $566. Recent candles show consolidation below resistance around $584.

The MACD shows a positive short-term signal. The MACD line stands near 1.77, above the 1.02 signal line. The histogram remains positive near 0.75, which shows buyers still control momentum.

The Bull/Bear Power indicator also supports the bullish side. BBP reads about 4.43 and stays above zero. That reading shows buyers maintain greater pressure than sellers on the four-hour timeframe.

From a technical perspective, a sustained close above $584 could expose the next resistance levels near $588 and $592. Conversely, failure to hold the $576 support area could shift attention toward $568 and $564 as traders monitor whether buyers continue defending the recent recovery.
