Key Insights
- Bitcoin miners offloaded 1,000+ BTC, but demand keeps price stable.
- Rising leverage fuels volatility as Bitcoin tests key $81,400 support.
- Rolex Index shows no market peak signs, indicating more upside potential.
Bitcoin price faces a crucial turning point as miners sell more than 1,000 BTC while leverage reaches high levels and the essential $81,400 support zone still under pressure. Historical patterns indicate that a significant market uptrend might develop despite current market conditions.
Miners Are Selling—Should You Be Concerned?
Bitcoin’s ecosystem depends heavily on miners, who maintain its supply chain by continuously adding new coins to market circulation. However, the large-scale sales from miners often reflect bearish market sentiment, but may also serve to fund operational costs.
Recent data from CryptoQuant indicates that Bitcoin miner reserves dropped from 1,810,146 BTC on March 10 to 1,809,116 BTC on March 16 when more than 1,000 BTC was sold during that period.

But the recent miner selling pressure has not caused Bitcoin price to drop below $81,000 and the cryptocurrency has maintained its stability.
This shows that the current demand levels show sufficient strength to consume all available supply, which indicates positive conditions for the market to continue its upward trend.
Rising Leverage: Risk or Fuel for a Bitcoin Price Rally?
At the same time, traders are boosting their investment potential through borrowed funds as leverage across exchanges continues to increase. The estimated leverage ratio, which measures the level of leveraged positions in the market, exceeds 0.24, indicating heightened speculation.

High leverage levels create larger price fluctuations in market movements. A Bitcoin price increase would initiate a short squeeze that would force bearish traders to repurchase their positions, thus accelerating market price growth.
On the other hand, a drop would result in rapid liquidations of highly leveraged traders, who would then trigger a fast market sell-off.
Amid rising leverage and miner selling, Bitcoin faces its most important price challenge at $81,400. The IntoTheBlock data shows that 644,000 addresses possess 457,000 BTC at this specific price point.

This means the market entry of numerous investors occurred at this specific price point. The strength of confidence in the uptrend remains high if Bitcoin stays above this level. However, the price of BTC faces a potential large correction if it drops below its current support range.
History Repeating? The “Local Bottom” Signal
The bullish outlook for Bitcoin price receives additional support from previous price cycle patterns, which appear to be playing out again. Crypto analyst Merlijn The Trader presented three BTC bottoming points that preceded major market rallies.
Each of these local bottoms occurred when both RSI (Relative Strength Index) and Stochastic RSI showed oversold signals. The indicators provide data to determine when market assets reach overbought or oversold conditions, helping traders spot upcoming trend reversals.

Right now, the current Stochastic RSI and RSI indicators display values matching past local bottom points, which indicates Bitcoin could soon end its current price correction.
Rolex Market Cycle Signal
Interestingly, one unconventional market indicator, the Rolex Market Index, presents an unusual market signal that indicates Bitcoin’s bull cycle might continue expanding. The index monitors luxury Rolex watch prices because it has historically followed crypto market sentiment.
The peak of Bitcoin price in early 2022 triggered Rolex prices to reach their highest point while investors sought out scarce high-value collectibles. This indicated maximum market euphoria, which typically marks the end of a cycle.

However, the current Rolex price cycle shows no signs of growth, indicating speculation has not reached the same level as previous market cycles. The predictive power of this indicator suggests BTC may continue to rise before it reaches its maximum market value.
