- ZCSH is the first exchange-traded product globally to provide spot Zcash exposure.
ZEC crypto extended one of its strongest rallies of 2026 as Grayscale launched its Zcash exchange-traded product on NYSE Arca. ZCSH began trading Aug. 25 after Grayscale converted its long-running Zcash Trust into an exchange-traded structure.
Zcash climbed from roughly $500 toward $900 during the latest advance before sellers returned. Binance data showed ZEC reaching an intraday high near $885.73 on Aug. 23 before retreating toward the $800 region.
Zcash ETF Opens Spot ZEC Access on NYSE Arca
Grayscale’s Zcash ETF began trading under the ticker ZCSH on NYSE Arca on August 25. Grayscale describes ZCSH as the first exchange-traded product offering spot exposure to ZEC, the native token of the Zcash network. Investors can buy the product through brokerage accounts instead of purchasing and safeguarding ZEC through crypto wallets or exchanges.
The fund does not hold the same regulatory status as an investment company registered under the Investment Company Act of 1940. Grayscale also states that buying ZCSH does not amount to a direct investment in ZEC.
The product traces its history to a private placement launched in October 2017, which previously offered accredited investors exposure to the token. Grayscale converted that existing vehicle into an exchange-traded product now publicly available on NYSE Arca.
ZEC Price Holds Most of Its Weekly Advance
At press time, ZEC price traded at $805, with its weekly gain standing at 55%. The ZEC price traded near $504 around August 19, before rallying to $600 and $700. ZEC then moved above $805 before sellers pushed the price lower. The move placed ZEC well above levels seen during its earlier 2025 rally.
The recent 5% pullback in the last 24 hours has not erased most of the weekly move. Zcash carried a market capitalization of about $13.54 billion, while 24-hour trading volume stood near $1.44 billion.

Zcash launched in 2016 with a proof-of-work network and a fixed maximum supply of 21 million ZEC. The protocol allows both transparent and shielded transactions. Shielded transfers can conceal sender, recipient, and transaction amount details while the network still verifies the transaction. That design gives users a choice between public transaction records and private transfers on the same blockchain.
The network also lets users disclose transaction information to selected parties such as auditors or regulators. Zcash developers introduced Sapling in 2018, Orchard and NU5 in 2022, and Ironwood in July 2026.
Grayscale linked the ETF launch to growing investor interest in privacy-focused digital assets. The company also pointed to continued development in wallets, infrastructure, and mining across the network.
ZEC Price Prediction Keeps $572 Support in View
The latest technical setup places ZEC price above its 2025 peak near $748 after the token broke into a higher trading range. A separate technical review noted that ZEC traded between the 0.618 and 0.786 Fibonacci levels during the advance.

ZEC crypto prediction placed the nearest major support area near $572.27, far below the current market price. That gap leaves a wide zone between current levels and support if selling pressure increases.
