Pi Network price traded near $0.0792 on Oct. 22, 2026, ahead of its first ecosystem summit. The token remained approximately 97.3% below its February 2025 peak, despite developer updates.
Pi Network announced the Nov. 17–19 online event on Oct. 15. The summit will feature platform announcements and application demonstrations, without a confirmed agenda of specific releases.
Pi Network to Host First Ecosystem Summit
Pi Network is a leading crypto project aiming to disrupt the payments industry. Its goal was to be a better coin than Bitcoin, which has become too expensive for people to buy and too complex for people to mine.
Pi Network aimed to achieve that by making it possible for people to mine using their smartphones. It also aimed to make Pi available on e-commerce and retail platforms globally.
Today, however, these goals have failed, with most of the pioneers who took part in their development abandoning it. Also, no major company accepts Pi, while its ecosystem has not seen exponential growth over time.
Pi has been working to change this predicament this year. The most notable activity was launching several protocol upgrades, that introduced new features, like smart contracts and data privacy. The goal is to have the network become a layer-1 chain that competes with popular chains like Ethereum, Solana, and Robinhood Chain.
Now, the team is hosting the first Pi Ecosystem Summit between November 17 and 19. It will be a three-day online event celebrating progress across the ecosystem. It will bring together participants like developers and the team to share their progress and vision. It will have platform announcements, developer demos, and new details about the upcoming hackathon.

Still, Pi Coin price remained on edge despite the new developments, partly because the team has made similar major announcements before and underperformed. For example, earlier this year, the team hyped its appearance at the Consensus Summit, only for its announcements to flop.
Pi Coin is Facing Major Challenges
The ongoing weakness in Pi Network‘s price is driven by major challenges. Most notably, there are signs that it has lost the confidence of its pioneers, who have been part of the ecosystem since its early days. The data show that most people have sold their tokens as the price has dropped, which is understandable.
Also, Pi Network has struggled to attract more developers. Even with smart contracts enabled, no mainstream developers like Aave, Morpho, and Aerodrome has moved to the ecosystem. In contrast, the recently launched Arc Blockchain and Robinhood Chain have already attracted hundreds of developers.
Further, the network continues to unlock millions of tokens every month. These unlocks have occurred at a time when demand for the token is falling, with its daily trading volume below $10 million.
Additionally, major exchanges like Binance and Coinbase have not listed Pi Network. Those that have done so like Kraken, have not experienced substantial demand yet.
Pi Network Price Prediction: Technical Analysis
The daily chart shows that the Pi Network token has slumped in the past few months. It was trading at $0.078, down modestly from a high of $0.1105, its highest point on August 22. The coin has slumped below the 50-day moving average and is in the process of forming an inverted cup-and-handle pattern.

Pi Coin has remained below the Supertrend indicator. Therefore, the most likely scenario is that it drops to the key support level of $0.0698, which coincides with its lowest level in July this year. A move below that price will point to more downside, potentially to $0.050.
