Hedera Price Eyes $1.70 As USDC Volume Spikes 2,150%: Can the Rally Hold?

Key Insights:

  • USDC on Hedera surged 2,150% as trading volume hit $224M in 24 hours.
  • HBAR price broke key resistance with a cup-and-handle setup targeting $1.70.
  • GENIUS Bill favors compliant chains like HBAR for regulated stablecoin growth.

Hedera (HBAR) price is gaining renewed attention after a major surge in USDC volume on Hedera and fresh developments in U.S. crypto legislation. Analysts believe HBAR price could reach the $1.70 level. Hedera is poised to see fast growth because of its ability to support cross-border payments and stablecoins.

USDC on Hedera Spikes 2,150%

The sharp rise in USDC transactions on Hedera is driving HBAR‘s recent gains. According to Mark Chadwick, trading volume rose to $224.12 million within one day. Today’s number sees a 52% higher increase compared to yesterday and a massive 2,150% increase in recent weeks.

DefiLlama data showed that USDC saw its market cap on Hedera go up by 38.77% over the last seven days. Hedera becomes a leading choice for stablecoin use because of this surge, especially for sending money between different chains. Mark pointed out that USDC may emerge as a viable digital dollar substitute if adoption continues rising at this pace.

Both the stablecoin area and the need for worldwide payment solutions are increasing. The fast processing and low costs make Hedera perfect for big business transactions. This is especially significant because SWIFT covers a market cap of $150 trillion. This makes it 50 times larger than all cryptocurrencies.

Hedera Price Technical Structure Points to $1.70 Upside

HBAR price has broken free from a long-term downward resistance line on its chart. Gilmore Estates identified a chart showing a parabolic reversal, forming what looks like a cup-and-handle pattern. The breakout zone was tested again and proved stronger, supporting the continuation move.

There is room for Hedera to double five times from its lowest price, aiming for $1.70. Both the increased volume and the symmetry of the reversal further show that this formation is bullish. Since the zone of $0.17–$0.20 has proven supportive, Hedera price is now positioned for a further rally.

These same technical indicators are also switching to positive on daily and weekly charts. With these signals and positive macro developments, the market is in a place where growth is possible.

Since the key resistances are now acting as support, the next important barrier is found close to $0.40. If price surpasses the $0.28–$0.30 region, it could move up to $0.60–$0.70 first and then toward $1.70 over the following months.

GENIUS Bill Could Accelerate Institutional Adoption

The GENIUS Bill advanced through the U.S. Senate, aiming to provide legal clarity for digital finance systems. The legislation favors blockchain networks that already meet regulatory and enterprise requirements.

Gilmore Estates emphasized that HBAR’s 10,000 transactions per second and low-fee model make it ideal for regulated stablecoin issuance. The bill’s framework aligns with Hedera’s emphasis on compliance, infrastructure integrity, and institutional-grade reliability.

Big corporations like Google, IBM, and Boeing serve on Hedera’s governing council. Their presence gives Hedera credibility in the regulated financial ecosystem and adds confidence to long-term investors.

As speculation loses ground to regulated innovation, Hedera may emerge as one of the primary platforms for compliant digital assets. The Market Periodical previously noted that HBAR is among the few tokens favored by enterprise stakeholders.

Hedera Price Forecast: Levels to Watch

Technical momentum and macro trends suggest more upside may be in store for HBAR. The token has broken key resistance zones and continues to ride on the strength of surging USDC adoption.

HBAR traded at $0.2045 at press time, posting a 2.57% daily gain. Trading volume surged 45.67%, hitting $248.66 million, which reflects renewed interest from active participants.

Immediate resistance lies at $0.25, followed by the critical $0.30 barrier. A breakout above this zone could open the path to $0.40, then $0.60–$0.70, with $1.70 as the long-term target.

With strong on-chain fundamentals and supportive legislation, Hedera appears well-positioned to capitalize on market shifts. The coming weeks may determine if the rally can sustain and scale higher levels.
