- INJ’s price jumped 4.5% following the ETF filing. Bullish momentum is aiming for the next resistance at $15.40.
Canary Capital has formally registered a statutory trust in Delaware for its planned Staked Injective (INJ) ETF. This filing is a big step towards launching a staking-based crypto ETF in the U.S. regulatory framework.
Canary Capital Sets Foundation for U.S.-Listed INJ ETF
On June 10, 2025, Canary Capital registered the “Canary Staked INJ ETF” with the Delaware Division of Corporations. This is an early-stage strategy used by fund managers. They follow this approach when seeking SEC approval for ETF trading.
Injective is gaining traction in traditional market access. SEC filings are still pending, but momentum remains strong. The trust aims to create a fund tracking INJ price and staking yields. This could further solidify Injective’s role in the crypto sector.

Combining price exposure and staking rewards improves the value proposition of the ETF for both retail and institutional investors.
This structure allows investors to enjoy the Injective network without running staking operations themselves. A Delaware trust is not a guarantee of SEC approval, but is another sign of crypto’s growing momentum in finance.
The SEC requires the firm to file a Form S-1 and then a Form 19b-4 with the intended exchange. The formal process ensures regulatory compliance and is one step closer to ETF’s public trading.
Institutional Momentum Builds Around Injective Blockchain
The interest of the institutions in Injective is growing steadily, and several key players are supporting the protocol’s infrastructure. Earlier this year, Injective’s blockchain got Deutsche Telekom MMS as a validator to assist in transaction validation and governance.
The move indicated traditional corporations’ confidence in Injective’s decentralized financial applications. In July 2024, 21Shares launched a staking-enabled Injective ETP on Euronext Paris and Amsterdam.
Now managing over $128 Million in assets, this physically backed product tracks INJ price and auto-compounds staking yield. ETP is supported by top brokers such as Interactive Brokers, eToro, and Swissquote.
This rising visibility of Injective among global financial service providers is reflected in the institutional developments.
As larger institutions and asset managers continue to adopt Injective, the project is well set up for broader exposure. The ETF pushes align with these initiatives, broadening INJ’s place in the financial product space.
Upcoming Technical Upgrade Boosts Long-Term Use Cases
Later this year, Injective will launch native Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) support directly on its Layer 1 blockchain. This will enable Ethereum-compatible apps to deploy on Injective without bridges or external integrations.
Geth, the new Ethereum client, is used for the upgrade and is fully compatible with existing Ethereum tools. With the new EVM support, Injective is open to a wider ecosystem of developers and applications from the Ethereum network.
This will increase user adoption and bring more projects to the network in search of scalable infrastructure. The native integration provides utility to Injective and supports the long-term growth of the ecosystem.
Injective is among the few Layer 1 chains with built-in EVM functionality. Unlike others, it does not rely on rollups for compatibility. This design makes the developer’s job easier and more efficient when working within the Injective environment.
INJ Price Reacts Strongly, Eyes $15.40 Target
Following the ETF trust announcement, INJ price has traded around $13.60, up over 4.5% in the last 24 hours. The surge in volume to $114.83 Mshowed investor interest in developing the potential ETF.
On the 4-hour chart, technical indicators show bullish continuation in the short term. Stochastic RSI is still in the overbought zone near 85, and the MACD has a positive crossover. This indicates buyer strength.

Now, the price aims at the $15.40 resistance level, which is 13% higher than the current price. The strong support of INJ near the $11.70 – $11.90 range has further strengthened the belief in higher price targets.
Bullish momentum could continue and push the token above the resistance level and potentially new highs. ETF news, institutional engagement, and promising technical structure keep traders optimistic.
