Key Insights:
- Cardano needs a sustained daily close above $0.67 to trigger a rally towards the $0.83-$0.91 price range.
- Despite a recent 12% daily gain, ADA is stabilizing around $0.58, and is facing resistance at $0.609 after dropping 24% in June.
- Cardano has encouraging fundamentals in play, and a rally could be closer than anyone thinks.
Cardano (ADA) has recently been in the spotlight because of its price action and its promising technical developments.
Yet, despite the 12% daily gain during the week and massive investor optimism, the road ahead might not be so straight after all. According to insights from analyst Ali Martinez, a daily close above $0.67 could push ADA into the $0.83–$0.91 range.
However, while this target is enough to fuel bullish excitement, several on-chain and macroeconomic indicators show that caution might be warranted. Here’s a breakdown of where Cardano stands now and what to watch for in the days ahead.
ADA Climbs Amid General Market Rally
Cardano’s price saw a sharp jump between Thursday and Friday, climbing more than 12%.
The cryptocurrency now trades at around $0.58 at the time of writing, after weeks of sluggish price movement that saw the cryptocurrency drop 24% in June alone.

At the peak of the recent rally, the cryptocurrency hit $0.611, with strong buying interest around $0.590.
However, resistance at $0.609 sparked profit-taking and triggered the ongoing dip. As it stands, Cardano is now stabilising at around the $0.58 price level. Despite the encouraging move, not everyone is convinced that a long-term uptrend is underway.
The $0.60 Line in the Sand
As of now, ADA is hovering around $0.58, and analysts believe that Cardano has to do a little more work to flip this range into support before any move upwards can happen.
A failure to hold this zone could lead to a a pullback into the $0.54 range and halt any ongoing bullish momentum. If Cardano bulls enter the picture once again, the next technical target sits at around $0.67 according to insights from Ali Martinez.

Considering how the $0.67 daily close stands as a great trigger, Cardano could skyrocket towards $0.83–$0.91. Still, it bears mentioning that hitting these targets will require not just technical follow-through, but also strong fundamentals.
Long-Term Indicators Turning Positive
One of the bigger developments is ADA’s ongoing 50-week moving average, which has now crossed over its 200-week moving average.
This is a rare bullish signal known as a golden cross and according to crypto analyst Dan Gambardello, this milestone is similar to what Bitcoin experienced during its ETF approval rally earlier this year.
This crossover means that Cardano may finally be attempting to break out of its prolonged bear market phase. Still, the move has taken months to develop, and further price confirmation is needed before calling a full reversal.
Institutional Exposure and ETF Momentum
Institutional access to ADA is also improving. According to reports, the Grayscale Digital Large Cap Fund has been approved for conversion into an ETF. It will now offer mainstream investors indirect exposure to ADA alongside Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana and XRP.

While Cardano has yet to receive a standalone ETF approval, Bloomberg expects a 90% chance this could happen during the current cycle. This adds long-term tailwinds to ADA, especially as institutional demand for regulated crypto products continues to grow.
However, it is worth noting that even Bitcoin saw a 20% price dip shortly after its own ETF approval. This means that investors should remain cautious regardless, because bullish news doesn’t always deliver immediate gains.
Overall, If ADA pushes through $0.67 and holds above it, Martinez’s $0.91 target is expected to become more and more realistic. However, a failure to do so could see the altcoin fall back into another consolidation range.
