Amid the broader crypto market recovery, Dogecoin price is showing strength, gaining over 5%, and trading at $0.235, with its market cap surging past $35 billion. Market analysts call it the perfect bounce back from the support levels, setting the stage for another 50% upside. Multiple DOGE charts show renewed optimism in the market for a strong upside.
Dogecoin Price Prepares for Mega Rally?
Popular crypto analyst Ali Martinez pointed out that Dogecoin price has once again re-entered the ascending channel, bouncing back from the lower boundary at $0.22. On a multi-year chart since 2017, we can see that DOGE has found strong buying interest at the lower channel boundary.

Martinez pointed out that DOGE’s recent re-entry into this range aligns with prior setups that preceded strong bull runs. This suggests the Dogecoin price may be primed for a rebound from current levels. Today’s 6% upside in the meme coin also coincides with the broader crypto market recovery.
Dogecoin Price Can Rally 56% Soon After This Breakout
Furthermore, crypto analyst Ali Martinez noted that once Dogecoin’s price reclaims $0.25, it will not stop. Following the breakout, Martinez expects DOGE to surge another 50% from the current levels to $0.36.
However, the trading volumes for DOGE is currently lacking to support this breakout. Despite Dogecoin price surging past $0.23, the daily trading volume has plummeted 27% to $2.37 billion. This shows that the trader sentiment remains bearish. At the same time, the DOGE open interest remains at $4.07 billion.

Additionally, the Dogecoin price shows a strong setup on the weekly timeframe. Popular analyst Trader Tardigrade said the DOGE weekly chart analysis reveals it has been trading within a descending channel.
Previous similar setups have resulted in substantial rallies for DOGE. The pattern suggests that when the meme coin successfully breaks above descending trendline resistance, it often leads to multi-week rallies of 100-300%. Thus, breaking out from this trendline could set the stage for a DOGE rally to $1 and beyond.
MyDoge Proposes ZK Proof Upgrade to Dogecoin Core
Adding to the bullish narrative, the MyDoge wallet team submitted a proposal to Dogecoin Core developers to introduce a native zero-knowledge proof (ZKP) opcode.
The proposed change would enable Dogecoin to support advanced off-chain computations such as rollups and lightweight smart contracts. The opcode is part of a broader DogeOS upgrade designed to retain Dogecoin’s speed and simplicity while improving scalability.
According to the proposal, ZKP support would not alter Dogecoin’s consensus model but could enhance developer tooling and open doors to ecosystem expansion.
“This proposal keeps Dogecoin lean and fast while enabling compatibility with modern cryptographic primitives,” the MyDoge team wrote.
If implemented, the upgrade could help Dogecoin evolve beyond its memecoin status and support more complex use cases.
DOGE Bulls Eye Breakout Confirmation as Accumulation Builds
Although technical indicators support a bullish reversal, the lack of volume remains a hurdle. Traders are watching for a daily close above $0.25 to confirm breakout strength.
If Dogecoin price clears that level and volume returns, analysts expect a rapid push toward $0.36. Beyond that, sentiment could fuel another breakout to $1—especially if DogeOS development accelerates adoption.
For now, DOGE remains range-bound but supported by strong technical structure and community interest. The next few sessions could determine whether this bounce becomes the start of a broader rally.
