Cardano Price Oversold on RSI Hint, Incoming Price Rebound?

Cardano (ADA) price is trading near $0.86 after the latest market reset. The coin has been moving inside a downward channel for close to 10 months.

Recent signals on the Relative Strength Index (RSI) and the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) show that the price might be preparing for a rebound.

Founder Charles Hoskinson has also spoken on Cardano’s future, pointing to key governance changes made over the past year.

Cardano Price and Market Signals

It is worth noting that the Cardano price has been locked in a descending parallel channel for 287 days.

Such channels often suggest that the price is in a correction phase but can also set the stage for a breakout.

At present, ADA has managed to reclaim the $0.85 mark. This level acted as resistance before; now it could turn into a support zone if the price holds.

Important signs are the RSI moving above the 30 oversold region and the MACD crossing into positive territory.

In the past, when both signals aligned, Cardano went on to post strong rallies of more than 100%. Traders will now be watching to see if history repeats itself.

Meanwhile, short-term performance still shows weakness. ADA has fallen 2.6% in the last day and is down slightly over the week.

Over the past month, the coin has dropped 5.78%. At the same time, ADA has gained 6.03% in the past two weeks and has risen 35.6% in the past three months.

Every year, ADA is up by more than 154%. Since January, it has added about 2%.

The market cap stands at $30.87 billion, with a 24-hour trading volume of $1.91 billion.

Price action remains cautious, but with momentum indicators turning positive, the possibility of a rebound is back in focus.

Hoskinson’s View on Cardano’s Direction

Charles Hoskinson, the founder of Cardano, has said that the best days of the project are still ahead.

He pointed out how much the network had changed in just one year. Last year, Cardano was still dependent on Genesis keys and did not yet have a constitution.

His post on X mentioned that the blockchain has a community-elected constitutional committee.

This also includes hundreds of delegated representatives and an on-chain constitution with a ratified annual budget.

Hoskinson called this the completion of the Voltaire era, which focuses on self-governance.

He also noted that the community is already discussing the next constitution and new governance tools.

Looking to the future, Hoskinson said that the ecosystem could grow strongly in the next three to five years as more entrepreneurs join the network.

His comments give context to the technical picture, where traders are weighing signals of a potential breakout.

September Trend from 2018 to 2025

Cardano’s history in September shows a long run of losses before recent gains.

In September 2018, ADA price dropped 16.2%. The following year, the coin saw a fall of 13.5%, and 2020 brought a decline of 17.7%.

The worst September came in 2021, with a 24% loss. September 2022 added another drop of 2.87%, followed by a 0.95% slip in 2023.

The pattern broke in September 2024 when ADA rose 7.87%. In September 2025, the positive trend continued with a 6.65% gain.

However, after six straight years of September losses, back-to-back gains in 2024 and 2025 mark a clear change.

This shift is important because it shows that ADA may be breaking away from a long period of negative seasonal returns.

Combined with the recent RSI and MACD signals, it gives weight to the view that Cardano could be setting up for a stronger phase.
