New possibilities have emerged for Solana (SOL) price as the crypto market gradually resumes momentum. Solana, currently ranked the sixth cryptocurrency, has broken past key resistance levels and is now eyeing the $250 mark.
The renewed Solana strength comes amid the cryptocurrency breaking a major revenue milestone and advocacy for Perp on the blockchain.
Solana App Revenue Overthrows Hyperliquid and Ethereum
As revealed by a crypto analyst, TheDeFiinvestor on X, Solana has surpassed Hyperliquid and Ethereum in app revenue.

This reflects recent shifts in blockchain performance, driven by transaction volume, user activity, and decentralized application (dApp) ecosystems.
Within the past 24 hours, Solana recorded App Revenue of $6.53 million. This pushed the 30-day App revenue to $203.44 million.
Hyperliquid came second with a 24-hour and monthly App revenue of $4.97 million and $95.36 million.
Notably, the Solana architecture combines Proof of History (PoH) with Proof of Stake (PoS). This enables the network to process up to 65,000 transactions per second (TPS) at a minimal fee, compared to Ethereum.
The high scalability attracts developers and users, especially for high-frequency dApps like decentralized exchanges (DEXs) and memecoin platforms.
Platforms like Pump.fun, a Solana-based memecoin launchpad, have also helped to push App revenue higher.
Meanwhile, Ethereum heavily relies on Layer 2 solutions for scalability, which reduces gas fees but fragments revenue streams. Ethereum’s app revenue came in at $91.69 million over the past 30 days, far less than the $203.44 million seen by Solana.
Advocacy for Perps on Solana
Taking to the X platform, Solana Foundation’s Vibhu Norby reflected on growing optimism about Solana adopting perpetual futures (perps).
Understandably, Solana’s high throughput and low transaction fees make it ideal for perps. These high-frequency trading products require fast, cost-effective order execution to compete with centralized exchanges.

Perps, unlike traditional futures, do not have an expiration date, allowing traders to hold positions indefinitely.
Vibhu projected that Solana perps products will see soaring adoption within the next 3 to 6 months, and scale volume faster. According to Vibhu, products on Solana grow faster once they find an audience.
However, some market players warned that perps products may face volatility, similar to memecoins if driven by speculative frenzy rather than sustainable demand.
One user on X, even argued that more traders would rather trade perps on Hyperliquid than on Solana due to a better user experience.
Solana Price Forecast, $250 Soon?
Solana saw a notable price increase during today’s trading session, rising from a daily low of $212.9 and breaking resistance around $220. The coin is now aiming for the $250 level again, marking a bold move.
As of this writing, SOL price is valued at $219.48, down 1.34% over the previous day. However, SOL has surged 7.09% over the past month, suggesting the coin is currently in consolidation.
Solana price looked ready to rally towards $250, fueled by the positive onchain metrics, ecosystem developments, and institutional interest.
There are also forecasts that SOL could climb past the $250 soon. Crypto analyst BitGuru stressed that the support zone of $235 is still important for sustaining the strength of the positive trend.
The analyst claims successful hold of this level could lead to a $250 retest and a potential breakout above.
Aligning with this forecast, analyst Lark Davis believed that once the Solana price clears the $250 resistance level, it could aim for $294.
Another top analyst, Captain Faibil predicted a long-term target of $1,25 for SOL, based on an ascending triangle pattern.
