Ethereum price retained its critical support at a time when analysts highlighted bullishness on several charts. Reports described a Wyckoff accumulation base, a weekly falling wedge, and rising futures volume that supported higher targets.
Ethereum Price Support Reinforces Long-Term Bullish Structure
According to analyst Crypto Gem, Ethereum price market structure was forming a Wyckoff accumulation setup that progressed through a spring and a successful test. The chart showed a Creek breakout and a Sign of Strength that indicated buyers were in control.
The Last Point of Support (LPS) was placed near $4,200, where Ethereum corrected to $4,173 before rebounding. Each retest drew renewed demand and suggested institutional accumulation and reduced available supply.

In addition, the crypto analyst projected a staged advance with an initial target near $5,600 and a minimum longer-term target around $7,000 by late 2025. The analyst indicated that the final phases of accumulation were in place and that the base had matured for a larger move.
The analyst also mentioned on-chain fundamentals. For example, factors such as supporting Layer 2 adoption and future network upgrades coincided with the accumulation stage.
Ethereum’s Falling Wedge Nears Breakout Point
Additionally, Trader Tardigrade showed a weekly falling wedge, which narrowed the price to a lower high and a lower low. The shape had typically resolved higher, indicating that the wedge was nearing completion.
Ethereum’s price had an overhead line between $4,000 and $4,200 that supported the structure in the previous pullback. The analyst suggested a slight retest of that base, followed by a decisive breakout.
More so, the wedge projection had targets above $6,000 in case ETH confirmed a breakout. The weekly view put existing altcoin price action into the context of a bigger bullish picture of consolidation.

The analyst further suggested that a breakout scenario would have to be supported by weekly closes above wedge resistance and supportive volume patterns to confirm the scenario.
Institutional Activity Fuels ETH Derivatives Surge
According to a report shared by Carl Moon, Ethereum futures showed the highest volume of 24 hours, standing at $40.5 billion, against Bitcoin futures at $33.5 billion. This was a significant change in the market focus of ETH derivatives.
Also, the report placed Solana at $13.3 billion and showed lower volumes for other altcoins, indicating a concentrated flow of speculative capital. ETH and BTC accounted for more than 60 percent of total futures volume during the observed period.

In addition, the analyst noted that high volumes in futures indicated institutional activity and leveraged positioning that would trigger huge price changes. This analysis also cautioned that such positioning would increase volatility in stress situations by imposing forced liquidations.
Risk and Validation Signals for ETH Path to $7,000
Meanwhile, analysts presented technical conditions favoring a bullish thesis and key support levels to follow. The Wyckoff LPS and the demand area of $4,000-$4,200 were highlighted as key to the continuity of the long-term bullish count.
Specifically, a decisive fall below the supports would nullify optimistic scenarios and open the possibility of a significant correction. On the other hand, a confirmed breakout of the falling wedge on weekly closes or even continued growth of futures flows would be a positive sign for the forecasted move towards $6,000-$7,000.
Ethereum was consolidating at around $4,196 at the time of reporting, slightly below the $4,200 support.
