Chainlink price surged about 2% in the last 24 hours following massive whale accumulation and strategic partnerships. The altcoin has been an institutional darling, thanks to its decentralized oracle network.
The network allows tokenizing real-world assets (RWAs) in the blockchain. The daily volume traded dropped by 40%. This suggests traders were more focused on spot accumulation than trading pairs.
The recent dip in Chainlink price is a temporary pullback. It’s seen as a discounted entry point within a broader rally that began after the bear market reversal.
Chainlink Whales Massively Accumulating
The last 24 hours, as of press time, have been characterized by a massive whale accumulation of Chainlink tokens. Despite this, withdrawals from crypto exchanges have been ongoing since early June. This suggests an accelerating increase in long-term bets.
According to Ali Charts, about 800,000 LINK tokens were removed from the exchanges in the most recent movement. Since the market dropped hard, investors have bought about 6.3 million LINK, valued at more than $135 Million.

Whales have steadily accumulated Chainlink over the past three months. The recent drop in Chainlink price may have been a strategic flush to shake out weak hands. Can the orders by these whales push the price back above $25?
Chainlink Price Target In the Short and Long Term
In the short term, whales could push the price beyond $25, as indicated by the spike into the green area. The charts showed that the Chainlink price stabilized at $21 after the sharp drop from $25.
The price decline led to cascading liquidations on millions of longs as per Coinglass’s data. From the 2-week price charts, the altcoin has been in a massive consolidation pattern since July 2021.
Chainlink price was on the verge of a gigantic symmetrical triangle breakout as of press time. Each time the price rose above the descending resistance zone, an instant rejection followed. A breakout from this pattern could push the altcoin toward $53, its existing ATH.

Based on historical price movement, the target will unlikely be reached by year-end. However, if the current trend continues, it could be achieved sometime in 2026.
Still, continued consolidation could not be ruled out despite many expecting a repeat of the 2021 rally. If the price stayed within the triangle, Chainlink could revisit levels below $16, the middle of the larger pattern.
Chainlink Price Partners Ithaca and Bluprynt
The institutional partnership could also push Chainlink to new levels. Specifically, the blockchain collaborated with Ithaca to help provide high-frequency options on the $30 trillion RWA market.
The cumulative options volume on Ithaca was nearing $30 Billion. Thus, Chainlink would solve the latency issue, enabling high-speed transactions.

Additionally, Chainlink played a significant role in Bluprynt’s real-time identification verification. This meant that Chainlink was expanding its application to security and compliance operations.
In addition, Chainlink announced that its developers would now customize workflows through their CRE program. The program encouraged creativity, as developers could build new packages instead of integrating existing services.
To sum up, the whale’s actions might cause a brief rally that could lead to a larger one. Institutional support and developments along the chain were the primary sources of confidence in price appreciation.
However, traders of Chainlink needed to be aware of its potential to remain within its consolidation pattern.
