Ethereum price showed stability above $4,000 after a volatile trading week. Multiple analysts predict that a potential bullish continuation pattern may develop across broader timeframes. As a result, several forecasts indicate that the top altcoin may reach a range of $7,000-$10,000 by mid-2026, if the momentum persists.
Ethereum Price Builds Momentum Within Bullish Flag
According to Mike Investing, Ethereum price is currently forming a strong bullish flag pattern that could lead to a euphoric breakout. Furthermore, he described this setup as “generational,” as Ethereum has completed the final hard pullback below $4,000 for this cycle. His chart shows the ETH consolidating above its 200-week moving average, which marks a firm structural base at around $2,447.

Additionally, Mike projected that Ethereum price could reach $7,000 by May 2026 if the bullish formation plays out. He stated that the breakout potential of the token is similar to earlier phases of long-term accumulation preceding massive rallies. Therefore, with the trend reversing and the increase in long-term holders, bears may soon come under pressure as momentum continues.
Key Support and Resistance Levels in Focus
At the same time, analyst Ted Pillows pointed out the importance of the $4,000 level, which Ethereum recently reclaimed. He highlighted the next two major resistance levels to look out for, which were $4,250 and $4,450.
Moreover, his analysis emphasized that if the Ethereum price does not maintain a bullish position above $4,000, the price might fall back to the liquidity trap of $3,800 before a recovery.

The chart also showed a multi-layered level of support between $3,750 and $3,550, which suggests multiple levels of defense for buyers. Besides, Ted argued that holding closes above $4250 could reaffirm bullish confidence and validate new strength. Hence, a successful breakout above these resistance levels would align with the overall uptrend in higher timeframes.
Buyers Target $4,330 Amid Expanding Range
Meanwhile, trader Lennaert Snyder reported that Ethereum price missed his long entry near $3,860 but is still within an active range structure. He believed the price would move towards the resistance zone at $4,330 before being rejected short-term. Furthermore, Snyder’s chart implied that the next trading decision will depend on whether ETH price breaks above or below this zone.

If the Ethereum price continues with momentum and breaks above the $4,330 level, the potential for it to reach $4,550 and $4,742 becomes more plausible. Snyder pointed out that he would look for confirmation signals before re-entering long positions, preferring continuation over reversal. Therefore, sustained demand over $4,000 could hold the bullish bias in the coming sessions.
Multi-Year Resistance Flip Confirms Breakout Setup
Notably, CryptoELITES noted that Ethereum price has officially inverted its multi-year resistance to a confirmed support. The analyst stated that the historical breakout represents a shift from rejection to validation, which enhances the market’s structural outlook. Furthermore, his projection in the higher range indicates the next significant target at $10,000, signaling the beginning of Ethereum’s next macro bull market period.

He highlighted that momentum is increasing across key moving averages, and each past rejection has been turned into a breakout base. As a result, if Ethereum price can trade above the zone of $4,000-$4,200, it could rapidly rally toward $6,000 and $10,000. This pattern reinforces investor confidence, suggesting that the breakout phase is likely already underway.
