XRP ETF Outperforms Major Crypto Funds as XRP Price Eyes $2.12

XRP ETF products attracted fresh capital on Sept. 8 while several larger crypto fund categories recorded redemptions.

The funds added about $1.55 million in net inflows, leaving cumulative inflows near $1.68 billion. XRP price meanwhile traded around $1.43 after reclaiming the $1.40 area.

The divergence placed XRP funds among the few positive crypto ETF categories during a broadly weaker session.

XRP ETF Inflows Buck Broader Crypto Fund Weakness

XRP ETF products stood apart from the broader U.S. crypto fund market during the Sept. 8 session. Data showed XRP funds attracted about $1.55 million in net inflows. Bitcoin ETFs lost $46.65 million, while Ethereum ETFs recorded $24.29 million in net outflows. Solana funds lost about $667,720, while HYPE funds posted $12.96 million in withdrawals.

The daily figures left XRP as the only major crypto ETF category in the group with positive flows. Cumulative XRP ETF inflows reached about $1.68 billion. Bitcoin still led total cumulative inflows at $55.57 billion. Ethereum stood at $13.17 billion, while Solana reached about $1.35 billion.

XRP funds also collected about $173 million over the prior 30 days. Daily ETF flows measure net creations and redemptions across listed products. They do not measure direct purchases of XRP tokens on crypto exchanges.

XRP ETF Shares Enter Schwab Repo Collateral

A separate SEC filing showed XRP ETF shares inside collateral pools linked to Schwab Prime Advantage Money Fund. Eight XRP ETF line items carried a combined collateral value of about $11.39 million. The securities came from Bitwise, Canary Capital, Franklin Templeton and Grayscale products. JPMorgan Securities and BofA Securities supplied the collateral under repurchase agreements.

The filing does not show Charles Schwab buying XRP ETFs for direct investment exposure. Schwab’s money market fund provided cash and received securities as collateral from the two dealers. JPMorgan-related XRP ETF collateral totaled about $7.20 million. BofA-related positions accounted for the other $4.19 million.

Schwab reported the positions in a Form N-MFP3 filed with the SEC on Sept. 8. The report covered the fund’s portfolio as of Aug. 31. Repo collateral can include equities, bonds, mortgage-backed securities and ETFs.

XRP Price Reclaims $1.40 as Bulls Hold Support

XRP price traded around $1.42 after gaining over 6% in the last 7 days, according to CoinMarketCap. XRP crypto recovered from an early-August low near $0.987. The altcoin later reached about $1.70 in late August before pulling back. Buyers then defended the $1.30 to $1.40 area and pushed the price back above the $1.40 barrier.

An analyst identified the 99-day simple moving average as an important support level for the current setup. The main support zone sits around $1.31 to $1.32. A sustained move below that range would weaken the structure. Holding above the zone keeps the current upside setup active.

XRP price prediction places an entry near $1.43 and a profit target at $2.12. That move would require a gain of about 48% from the current price. The analyst also set a stop near $1.31. Based on those levels, the setup carries a risk-reward ratio of about 5.8 to 1.

Resistance sits between $2.10 and $2.15, placing the $2.12 target within a broader supply area. XRP must first keep the $1.31-$1.32 support zone intact. A decisive move below that area would invalidate the cited trade setup.
