Watches of Switzerland Group (LON: WOSG) stock price is facing immense pressure from the sellers’ side. It is down by 20.06% over the past month, falling from the high of the £625 resistance level. The bearish sentiment pushed the price down near the £477 support level.

On the higher timeframe, the WOSG stock price witnessed huge involvement of bears after achieving an annual high at £1036 on Jan 16, 2023. Thus, the price experienced a downtrend momentum which lasted till mid-July, 2023, where it secured a strong support level at £600.

Technical Indicators

The rise of bullish momentum occurred from the £600 support level in the hope of recovering the prior losses. However, the move did not sustain and was halted at the resistance level of £760. Furthermore, the price was stuck in consolidation between the £670 and £760 range, after hitting the £760 mark.

The shift in trend took place following the release of the H2-2022 report, which helped the price break free from its extended downtrend. However, the bullish momentum was short-lived as the 2nd half-yearly report brought opposing results, which initially boosted buyer confidence. Yet, this optimism was fleeting, and the price soon reverted to its downtrend trajectory. It made a sudden descent below the £486 support level after breaking out of the consolidation zone.

Watches of Switzerland Group (WOSG) stock price closed at £485.5 while witnessing a gain of 1.98% in the past intraday session, with the opening and closing prices at £500.0 and £476.2, respectively. The £476.2 mark was by far the lowest in the year-to-date timeframe, showing bearish dominance in the market.

If the prolonged bearish sentiment remains constant and the next candle closes below the current candle low, then it might melt toward the £440.0 support level. On the contrary, if the bulls snatch control from bears, and the price rose above the £512 mark, then it might retest the £538 resistance level.

The WOSG stock price is hovering below the 20, 50, 100, and 200-day EMAs, which indicates a rise in the participation of sellers in the market.

The RSI is down below the 50-neutral zone, with a score of 35.40, suggesting weakness and the price might head to the oversold zone if the bearish trend sustains. Meanwhile, the CMF has been below the 0 mark since September 29, 2023, as it stands at -0.27, which denotes bearish dominance, and if it prevails, then the price might melt toward the £440 mark.

Conclusion

Watches of Switzerland Group’s market structure and price action have suggested bearish dominance and immense weakness. The bulls tried to shift the prolonged downtrend, but failed to sustain the momentum. Currently, the technical parameters and analyst ratings favor the sellers’ side.
