Why Bitcoin, Ethereum, And Solana May Skyrocket In October
  • BTC, ETH, and SOL have always performed well in October, and they look prepared to hit new ATH this time.
  • As per the data, those three coins have shown positive gains in the past few October.
  • The growth potential of these assets is further enhanced by macroeconomic trends and advancements in their ecosystems.

As September has come to an end, the cryptocurrency market trend looks bullish. Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Solana (SOL) might perform well in October. These three are the most valuable crypto assets among the top 10 cryptocurrencies according to their market caps.

As September brings its door to a close, market trends have teased the potential for three cryptocurrencies to record exponential growth in October. These three are the biggest crypto assets among the top 10 cryptocurrencies in terms of market capitalization.

Bullish Momentum is Anticipated in October as Per Market Analytics

The top cryptocurrencies have shown positive momentum for the past few October months. This month, for the past few years, the market has been in a bullish phase for the top cryptos.

Being the crypto market leader, BTC has remained bullish in October for the past 5 consecutive years. Its price has increased significantly in October 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023, as per the crypto analytics platform Cryptorank data.

Particularly, the Bitcoin price has risen by 10.5%, 28.10%, 40%, 5.55%, and 28.50% for every year respectively. Similarly, Ethereum has also remained bullish for the past five years in October based on the Cryptorank data.

Following the top crypto, altcoins have also displayed gains for the past five years. They have risen by 1.40%, 7.7%, 42.8%, 18.5% and 8.60% in October 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023. Beyond Ethereum, Solana is also an altcoin that has witnessed bullish behaviors in October.

The Cryptorank data suggest that the Solana price has gained 43.10% in October 2021 but has dropped by 1.65% that year. In October 2023, the Solana price witnessed bullish momentum as the altcoins surged by 80.10%. These altcoins’ bullish behaviors have lifted Solana over many projects. Its market capitalization has also increased by $6 Billion.

Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana Fundamentals Gives Strength For Uplift

Solid fundamentals might help Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana to record a new all-time high in October 2024. These fundamentals might trigger bullish momentum, which may shoot up their values.

For Bitcoin, the anticipation for the first-spot Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF) launch was the primary factor driving its growth in October 2023. Rising demand and the current trading of ETFs could surge the Bitcoin price next month.

Interest rate reductions in China and the USA are additional factors that could fuel bullish momentum in Bitcoin. Consequently, analysts predict that Bitcoin will see an increase in liquidity.

It is also expected that this liquidity will trickle down to Ethereum, driving the price up even more. Increased whale activity and growing adoption of Ethereum Layer-2 scaling solutions are two more fundamental factors that could propel ETH price growth.

On the other hand, Solana’s high throughput, improved scalability, and low fees make it an excellent choice for developers. As more developers flock to this blockchain, Solana’s demand may grow, setting the price up for a rally in October.

Analyst Forecasts for Each Cryptocurrency

By the end of 2024, PlanB, a quant analyst, has projected that the Bitcoin price can reach $100,000. The analyst’s forecast stems from the recovery of mining following the Bitcoin halving.

Another analyst, CryptoJack, projected that Bitcoin would break out from a “cup and handle” pattern to $128,000. However, these exciting possibilities aren’t limited to Bitcoin.

According to analysts, Ethereum might trigger a pullback to surpass $3500. Additionally, Solana may also see a 900% increase soon, according to on-chain analyst Ali Martinez. When writing, Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana traded at $156.77, $65,658, and $2,657, respectively.
