DMD Diamond is the world’s first blockchain with the Honey Badger BFT cooperative consensus algorithm and full support of EVM. It has announced the release of a new version of Diamond-UI (1.2). This version includes important updates and improvements aimed at improving the platform’s functionality and usability for all users.
One of the update’s most notable innovations is the connection report in the list of validators. The list of validators now displays information about each node’s connection status, allowing users to assess network performance more accurately. If the validator works without problems, its status will be marked in black.
In case of connection problems, the value will be displayed in orange. In cases where the decision of the majority (2/3) of active validators determines the validator is faulty, the value will be highlighted in bold red, which helps to identify problematic nodes immediately.
Also worth noting is the introduction of a customizable list of validators. This innovation allows users to have more control over the display of information. Users can turn columns on or off and change their order according to their preferences to create a more convenient interface. It makes interaction with the interface more individual and efficient.
In addition, the update introduces separate customizable columns for the public key and miner address. Now, users can easily see their node’s miner address and the corresponding public key next to the connected v4 wallet used to create the pool. It dramatically simplifies the process of monitoring the parameters of validators.
Helmut Siedl, DMD Diamond visionary says:
“Updating the user interface is key to ensuring user convenience. Firstly, it improves the user experience by making the interface intuitive and easy to navigate. Secondly, modern technologies and user preferences do not stand still, so regular updates help to stay in step with current standards. Thirdly, updating the UI helps to find and fix errors that may negatively affect the user experience. In addition, an aesthetically pleasing interface attracts attention and increases interest in the product.
Finally, a modern ecosystem UI uses a single point of contact, allowing you to do all core interactions with the DMD Diamond ecosystem and, if you want, even decentral without a server between you and the blockchain. As one expert said: “It is not just important to update the user interface; it must be adapted to user needs and changes in technology to create a truly effective and enjoyable experience.”
Minor updates and improvements have created a smoother and more comfortable user experience. These improvements aim to make it easier for users to navigate the interface and encounter fewer problems.
In parallel with the release of the new version of Diamond-UI, DMD Diamond is conducting open beta testing of the new v4 blockchain.
The team is actively working on incorporating DAO feedback and core contract audits to prepare for a perfect DMDv4 mainnet launch this coming spring and become part of the future interoperable blockchain ecosystem.
