Both Bitcoin and Ethereum spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) registered high inflows in the last week. This indicates that there is increasing institutional interest in crypto-backed investment vehicles. Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs had amassed $887 million and $557 million, respectively.
The recent numbers continue a multi-week streak of constructive movement throughout digital resource ETFs.
Bitcoin ETF and Ethereum ETF Flows Data
Bitcoin ETFs experienced net inflows of $222.62 million on September 19, 2025, marking a positive streak. The week did not go without losses, though.
On September 17, the Bitcoin ETFs had net outflows of $51.28 million, interrupting the streak. The midweek backlash was offset by inflows of 292.27 million dollars on September 16 and 260.02 million dollars on September 15.
In the five days, the Bitcoin ETFs netted an amount of $887 million, which is the fourth week of growth. Data from SoSoValue indicates that it is part of a larger upward trend, with Bitcoin ETFs gathering an equivalent of almost $3.9 billion of inflows over the last one month.
This is a good performance at a time when short-Bitcoin products have performed poorly, with outflows of over $500 million recorded so far this year. The assets under management (AUM) of short-Bitcoin ETFs have been declining to a multi-year low of $83 million, indicative of weared bearish demand.
Ethereum ETF Inflows Strengthen
Ethereum ETFs, which have been on a positive streak lately, also had strong inflows earlier last week, but with a higher volatility than the Bitcoin funds. The highest single-day net inflows were on September 15, when the figure rose to $359.73 million.
This was then succeeded by a drastic turnaround on September 16, where Ethereum ETFs reported negative outflows of 61.74 million.
On September 17, there was a temporary setback of $1.89 million. It was soon offset by new inflows of $213.07 million on September 18.
Another $47.75 million in inflows were made on September 19 to reach a cumulative total of $557 million. CoinShares reports that Ethereum ETFs have received the largest inflows ever, at an annual inflow of $12.6 billion as of press time.
The ETF data is due against the background of a broader increase in the flows of digital asset funds. CoinShares data shows that world crypto exchange-traded products (ETP) recorded $1.9 billion in inflows over the last week after recording an inflow of $3.3 billion the previous week.
Bitcoin and Ether topped the gains of $977 million and $772 million in inflows, respectively. The investor demand was also registered with other altcoins, as Solana funds attracted $127 million and XRP products attracted $69 million.

Such inflows had increased total assets under management in global crypto ETPs to $40.4 billion year-to-date, according to the CoinShares head of research, James Butterfill.
Impact of U.S. Federal Reserve Policy
Crypto ETF demand by investors has aligned with the changes in the U.S. monetary policy. The Federal Reserve has reduced its benchmark interest rate by 0.25% points last week, the first reduction of the year.

Inflows increased towards the end of the week. The announcement by the Fed also temporarily increased the price of Bitcoin to above $117,000 before a retracement, as well as Ethereum, which climbed above $4,600 momentarily. However, the overall market sentiment has generally been subdued despite the inflows into ETFs.
