After a minor pullback, BNB price is trading near $1,180, still above critical support levels. Traders are closely watching for a breakout above $1,215 as a sign of renewed bullish momentum. Meanwhile, Binance’s acquisition of South Korea blockchain exchange Gopax stems out its comeback to the competitive Asian crypto market.
BNB Price Holds $1,150 Support, Eyes $1,215
BNB consolidating between $1,145 and $1,215, building structure before the next major directional move. Analysts see $1,215 as the key resistance level, which requires a strong close for confirmation.
Crypto Tony explained that reclaiming the $1,215 level would mark the start of another bullish phase, aiming at $1,260 and $1,320. His analysis indicates several rejections at this level since early October, making it a very important breakout zone.

Failure to close above $1,215 could lead to range trading and lack of short-term momentum. The $1,145 region remains a crucial support level, with potential for accumulation and stability.
Trading volume has decreased by 40% over the last day, yet buyers are still active near the lower boundary. This constant activity represents confidence that the present range could be a reaccumulation phase preceding an upward continuation.
Momentum indicators, such as RSI and MACD, remain neutral and are exhibiting bullish divergence onsets. A breakout above $1,215 would amplify this bias and confirm renewed investor participation.
Binance Finalizes Gopax Deal, Re-Enters South Korea
Binance has officially completed its long-anticipated acquisition of Gopax, acquiring a 67% controlling stake. The clearance from South Korea’s Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) marks the culmination of months of regulatory review, allowing Binance to resume local operations.
The acquisition was delayed since 2023 because of compliance issues and AML requirements. With these conditions satisfied, Binance can now recover its foothold in one of the largest cryptocurrency markets in Asia.
South Korea’s cryptocurrency sector remains highly competitive, with Upbit accounting for approximately 70% of the market share. Binance’s return under Gopax is set to introduce more competition, better liquidity, and expand the user base in the region.
CZ Expands Asia Presence as Binance Strengthens
Notably, Binance founder Changpeng “CZ” Zhao has once again emphasized that Southeast Asia is a key focus in Binance’s Web3 development strategy. Now, South Korea, Japan and Vietnam are important innovation hubs and user interaction regions.
CZ’s attention is not only on exchange operations. Recent projects have included educational projects in Vietnam, as well as partnerships in Japan, highlighting Binance’s multi-sector ambitions.
The Gopax acquisition aligns with this regional roadmap, providing a compliant entry into a market renowned for its innovation in the retail space. Analysts forecast that it will attract institutional interest, further supporting the long-term value proposition of BNB.
BNB’s performance has followed the growth of Binance’s corporate, with a 45% jump in the last month before consolidating around $1,180. Holding above $1,150 continues to demonstrate structural strength, suggesting that the token remains well-positioned for another rally.
If the BNB price reclaims $1,215 with increasing volume, analysts anticipate a movement towards $1,260 and $1,300. Sustaining that level could help cement the coin’s position as one of the top exchange tokens in 2025.
Analyst Identifies Buy Wall Supporting BNB Price Base
Market analyst CW noted the existence of a heavy accumulation, represented as a large buy wall, in the $1,140 to $1,160 range. These buy side clusters tend to lead rallies by absorbing the selling pressure and keeping the market less volatile.

TradingView’s order book shows institutional demand accumulation near $1,150, where liquidity depth has increased significantly. CW commented that holding this zone enhances bullish structure and is bullish for a move above $1,215.
If buyers can hold strength, the next upside targets are between $1,260 and $1,320. However, a breakdown below $1,140 could temporarily lower sentiment, but the larger structure remains intact.
