XRP Price is consolidating around $2.45 after a volatile rebound from a crash last week. Analysts believe that the current pause could mark the end of a corrective Wave 4.
This paves the way for the next major impulse. In addition, while technical setups and liquidity data suggest short-term weakness, long-term accumulation structures remain positive.
XRP Price Holds Near Key Support Level
Following a sharp selloff, the Ripple price is consolidating around $2.45, with key retracement levels in place. CasiTrades analyst perceives this structure as forming Wave 4 within a larger Elliott Wave impulse.
She observed that markets rarely switch directly from Wave 3 to new trends without completing Wave 5. Hence, after this, another leg down may develop before the new bullish cycle starts.
Based on her prediction, the XRP price may drop further towards the $ 1.35-$ 1.46 bottoming range.

Ripple price briefly tested the 72% retracement level of recent highs at $0.77 on Binance. It then bounced back above the higher support levels. The retracement to $2.45 indicated a partial recovery, but the resistance around $2.82 remains strong.
CasiTrades added that a weak breakout signal implies low bullish momentum. However, she expects the next Wave 5 to reach complete exhaustion before returning to the $6.50-$10.00 area.
Liquidity Wall Forms as Markets Rebalance
Steph Is Crypto posted a chart showing liquidity. This suggests that the XRP price has “emptied the base,” with the next wall around $3.40. The Coinglass chart revealed heavy liquidity buildup between $3.2 and $3.4. This zone reflects a cluster of leveraged positions.

This concentration of liquidity is usually a magnet for future price action. If momentum continues to support the Ripple price, it could move toward this zone before encountering renewed resistance.
Steph observed that liquidity flushes usually reset leveraged positions and set up conditions for cleaner direction. The current structure suggests that big traders are looking for a higher retest after exhausting previous liquidity.
Bullish traders could aim for an XRP price of $3.40. But if $2.82 isn’t retested, it may lead to short-term downside pressure. More so, Steph mentioned that volume recovery needs to be maintained to confirm a trend change.
XRP Price Faces Short-Term Weakness but Retains Long-Term Strength
Crypto trader Ali Martinez expects the Ripple price to retest $2, citing weakening momentum indicators. His chart shows that XRP is trading beneath the major horizontal support, and he’s projecting a retest at the $2 level.
Ali noted that the XRP price structure shows weakening buyer strength. It was rejected near $2.70, signaling a decline in momentum. The dashed line in the chart indicates a possible downward trend before stabilization.
Speaking to the news, he cautioned that a move below $2.20 will initiate further liquidations before recovery. However, he also pointed out that XRP’s long-term structure remains fundamentally strong once the correction has run its course.
Long-Term Structure Indicates Prolonged Accumulation
Analyst EtherNasyonal provided a more comprehensive perspective. He also highlighted the breakout of the Ripple price from a long-term downtrend against Bitcoin.

He said that XRP’s breakout above the 50 EMA in late 2024 signaled the beginning of a prolonged reaccumulation. The recent market crash retested this structure without changing its bullish trend.
According to his chart, XRP/BTC is currently above critical historical support. The next step may be a slow move to a higher range of resistance as the accumulation becomes stronger.
EtherNasyonal noted that short-term volatility can mask long-term strength. The buildup pattern has the potential to take the XRP price to multi-year highs if the BTC stability around the cycle continues.
