Bitcoin ETFs rebound with $238.47M inflows Nov 21 after long outflow

Bitcoin ETFs saw a strong recovery on November 21. After six days of large withdrawals, investors returned with fresh inflows. The total net inflow reached $238.47 million, reversing the previous day’s record $903 million outflow.

Fidelity’s FBTC led the gains, followed by Grayscale’s Mini Trust. Trading volume rose sharply, and total ETF assets settled near $110 billion. This shift surprised many traders and signaled renewed confidence in Bitcoin exposure through regulated funds.

Bitcoin ETFs Fidelity and Grayscale Led the Turnaround

Fidelity’s FBTC was the top performer on November 21 among the several Bitcoin ETFs. It brought in $108 million in net inflows. That was nearly half of the day’s total. FBTC’s historical net inflow rose to $11.798 billion. Traders favored its low fees and strong liquidity.

Grayscale’s Bitcoin Mini Trust (BTC) followed with $84.9 million in inflows. Its total net inflow reached $1.951 billion. The fund’s 0.15% fee attracted cost-conscious investors. Assets under management climbed to $3.2 billion.

Grayscale’s main GBTC fund also posted gains. It recorded a $61.5 million inflow. GBTC remains one of the largest Bitcoin funds worldwide, with more than $20 billion in assets. Traders continue to rebalance away from higher-fee products, but GBTC still attracts steady interest.

BlackRock’s IBIT recorded a bad day. SoSoValue reported that the spot ETF had a $122 million outflow. It was the largest single-day net outflow yesterday. IBIT’s total net inflow stands at $62.703 billion. It remains one of the largest Bitcoin ETFs by volume.

Several other Bitcoin ETFs also posted gains. ARK Invest’s ARKB added $39.1 million. Bitwise’s BITB gained $8 million. VanEck’s HODL saw $8.3 million in inflows. Galaxy’s BTCO, WisdomTree’s BTCW, Franklin’s EZBC, and Valkyrie’s BRRR also saw small additions.

Total assets across all Bitcoin ETFs reached $110.11 billion. That figure recovered after dropping $15 billion earlier in November. Together, these ETFs hold over 1.05 million BTC. That’s nearly half of the Bitcoin held on public exchanges.

Trading volume surged to $11.02 billion. That was 25% higher than the previous session. BlackRock’s IBIT led with $8 billion traded. Despite the volume, IBIT still closed with a net outflow.

Charts from SoSoValue showed a clear shift. A green bar replaced the deep red from the day before. This marked a move from selling to accumulation.

Price Action and Investor Sentiment

Bitcoin traded near $84,500 on November 21. It stayed below the weekly high of $90,000. The price had dropped from $95,000 to $81,000 earlier in the week. ETF outflows contributed to that decline.

Later, a statement from New York Fed President John Williams helped sentiment. He hinted at lower interest rates. That gave Bitcoin a boost above $85,000.

ETF flows and the Bitcoin price often move in tandem. Studies show a correlation of 80% or more. Traders see ETF inflows as a sign of long-term confidence.

Since January, Bitcoin ETFs have seen over $57 billion in net inflows. They remain the largest part of the crypto fund market. Ethereum and altcoin ETFs hold far fewer assets.
