Ethereum News: Fusaka Upgrade to Add Apple-Style Signature Scheme

Ethereum news hints that the P-256 signature support will be added in the Fusaka upgrade set for December 3.

As detailed, the signature support system is used by Apple, Google, and WebAuthn. The change will allow passkey login, faster activity on the network, and simpler wallet recovery for users in many regions.

Fusaka Upgrade to Introduce P-256 Support and New Login Options

Ethereum is preparing to add the P-256 signature scheme through EIP-7951. Apple, Google, and WebAuthn already use the feature.

Several posts on X discussed how the change might shape the network’s next stage. Joseph Young confirmed that the upgrade will bring passkey login to Ethereum.

He added that it will support secure enclave wallets. It will also implement login steps similar to those on major devices.

Young also mentioned that this could make daily use smoother for many people. It is important to add that CryptoDoc also spoke about the upgrade on social media. According to him, December 3 would mark a major shift in how the public interacts with Ethereum.

He explained that a new wallet could be created in five seconds. CryptoDoc said that transactions that once took 30 to 60 seconds could feel almost instant. He said users would sign in with a fingerprint or a face scan. They would do it the same way banking apps work today.

In his post, the analyst mentioned that said seed phrases would no longer be needed. He added that a user who loses a phone could restore access through iCloud or Google services. Accordingly, the upgrade could ease gas pressure when the chain becomes crowded.

Another industry voice, CryptoSkull, spoke about price expectations. He said Ethereum could rise more than 100% after Fusaka goes live. He said the weeks after the upgrade could show strong movement compared with other assets.

Additionally, the wider cycle might reach new highs. He said the first quarter of 2026 could be strong for the Ethereum ecosystem. This outlook adds momentum to recent Ethereum news.

Ethereum News: Price Moves Show Pressure Near the $2,800 Level

Market posts painted a different picture in the short term. Ted Pillows spotlighted the fall in ETH price below $3,000 as the coin moved toward the $2,800 support zone.

Per the Ethereum news, he stated that a hold at that level could lead to a rebound. He added that a break under the zone could send the price toward $2,500.

Based on CoinMarketCap data, the Ethereum price was trading close to $2,839.05, down 5.68% for the day. Lows near $2,800 to $2,811 were recorded.

The coin remained about 27% lower over the past month, even as DeFi and Layer-2 networks showed steady activity.

Based on this current outlook, market watchers said traders were moving away from higher-beta assets during a broad deleveraging phase.

Similarly, Ethereum held an important role in DeFi but still felt the market pressure during the month.

Analysts Look Ahead to Ethereum News & the 2025 Range and Cycle Outlook

A forecast from CryptoDnes on December 1 gave a long-term view. He placed the 2025 range between $3,843 and $5,956. He listed an average outcome of $4,899. The analyst also cited a cycle model. This pointed to a possible move near $9,000 in a strong year-end scenario for December 2025.

Meanwhile, market participants pointed out that the Fusaka upgrade could have an effect on how these numbers develop. Analysts argued that the new login system and simpler wallet process could attract millions of users.

They said these features would help bring more people into the network. More importantly, easier access would help new users enter the space without complex steps.

The whole Ethereum news outlook indicates that current users might see less friction when they move funds. Other top voices added that speed gains could support a wider group of applications. If anything is clear, these changes could influence how the next cycle unfolds for Ethereum.
