  • UNI just tapped a major demand zone right above the round number at $5. Still, UNI was maintaining its structure effectively after the aggressive sweep and market structure shift.
  • Have Uniswap, Lido, and Aave been performing well recently? Has Ethereum L1 lacked proper competition, or have Uniswap, Lido, and Aave been that successful? Or both?

Uniswap crypto surged by more than 10% in the past 24 hours as crypto markets recovered. However, its uptick was fueled by expansion of the user base and chain activity.

After stabilizing above a round number, UNI price followed the same trajectory as most other coins on the day. Other DeFi protocols were also doing well as traders anticipated a continued trend in the next sessions.

The market hinted at a potential reversal. Uniswap fights to maintain its lead over competitors in the sector.

Uniswap Labs Partners Revolut

On December 2, 2025, Uniswap announced its partnership with Revolut through its official X account. Uniswap Labs was collaborating with one of the leading European fintech applications. The platform has well over 50 million users. This made it more than a fiat onramp.

It scaled the purchase system for debit cards, bank transfers, or Revolut balances within the Uniswap Web App and Wallet. It supported Ethereum and more than 14 chains that were available in 28 countries. Hence, it did not require centralized exchanges to access DeFi.

All users could buy, choose tokens, and then choose Revolut. Other fiat onramping options included Robinhood, Transak, and Moonpay. This feature enabled choice and minimized friction.

This action was followed by a 10% upward move. This increased the liquidity and usage as on-chain demand of the token spiked.

Uniswap Crypto Price Taps Into a Key Demand Zone

Looking at the price action chart, the Uniswap crypto reversed from a very critical support level. It was psychological. Historical data showed that this demand zone sparked market reactions in favor of bulls.

It was robust when it coincided with strength in the entire crypto market or, by extension, global finance. On the lower timeframe chart, the UNI crypto price has had a market structure shift.

The altcoin rose from $5.40 to $6.17 at the time of press. However, it was forming a potential reversal signal, a rising channel.

The altcoin was still trading above a fair value gap on a higher timeframe. It indicated bull strength that was facing resistance from sellers who had been controlling the market on a bigger scale. For the last two months, the entire crypto market, including Uniswap, had been in the red.

The bears still hold the market. Only a flip of the $6 to $6.50 zone would change the market structure on a bigger scale. Uniswap crypto was in a contest between bulls and bears, and the next few sessions could define the targets.

Uniswap Crypto Against Other DeFi Protocols: Who Wins?

Among the DeFi protocol sector coins, Uniswap still holds one of the biggest on the Ethereum ecosystem. The protocol battles others like AAVE Protocol and Lido DAO (LDO).

The tokens have been following a similar price trajectory, but UNI crypto seems to be taking the lead. However, AAVE and LDO showed a real threat and thus remain to be battlefields for dominance.

Interestingly, AAVE crypto was leading the lending sector, LDO led the staking front, and UNI was a DEX. These developments gave Ethereum mainnet dominance over Solana in the decentralized finance sector.

UNI remained uncertain as bulls failed to trigger a major structural shift on the larger timeframe.
Uniswap crypto was trending in a bullish market, but bears were not giving in.
