Key Insights:
- Ripple news: RLUSD expanded to Layer 2 networks using Wormhole NTT, improving cross-chain liquidity.
- XRP exchange-traded products recorded about 20 straight days of net inflows
- XRP price remains above the monthly 21 EMA, indicating an intact bullish structure
As of the latest Ripple news, XRP price hovered just below $2 as the company began testing RLUSD using Wormhole’s NTT standard. Testing starts on Optimism and extends to Base, Ink, and Unichain. Ripple expects an official debut next year, pending regulatory approval.
Meanwhile, flow data showed about 20 straight days of net inflows into XRP exchange-traded products. The inflow chart also tracked total net assets rising across sessions in the view.
Ripple news: RLUSD Testing Moves to L2s via Wormhole NTT
Ripple first issued RLUSD on the XRP Ledger and Ethereum for cross-chain settlement and liquidity. It now plans to move RLUSD across Layer 2 ecosystems using Wormhole Native Token Transfers. NTT can transfer RLUSD between supported networks, while Ripple retains native issuance control. The structure will reduce reliance on separate wrapped versions across each venue.

The Ripple news described Optimism as an entry point into a wider Layer 2 environment. The company listed Base, Ink, and Unichain as additional testing venues. Ripple said RLUSD operates under a New York Department of Financial Services Trust Company Charter.
Moreover, the company also stated that it applied for an OCC charter. Notably, RLUSD is recognized by regulators in Dubai and Abu Dhabi with more than 75 licenses globally.
Wrapped XRP and RLUSD Pairings Extend Utility
Concurrently, Hex Trust announced the issuance of wrapped XRP, known as wXRP, for cross-chain interoperability on supported networks. wXRP can enable XRP and RLUSD to trade and provide liquidity as a pair across connected ecosystems.
The pairing will also support routes where applications need a stable unit alongside XRP exposure. Therefore, the company will support payments, swaps, and checkout options using XRP and RLUSD.
Additionally, apps can facilitate the buying, selling, and sending of digital assets with the same pair. Where protocols allow, users can access swaps, lending, and yield using wXRP and RLUSD.
XRP ETF Inflows Extend for 20 Days
On other Ripple news, flow data showed about 20 consecutive days of net inflows into XRP exchange-traded products. The same view showed daily inflow bars and a rising line for total net assets. The data listed total net assets at nearly $1.18B and a daily total net inflow of around $20.17M. These details pointed to ongoing allocation during a tight spot range.

Inflow streaks can matter during consolidations because steady demand can support bids on pullbacks. During the same period, the XRP price remained near the $2 support level before slightly breaking below to $1.88 at the time of writing.
XRP Price Holds Above Monthly 21 EMA
A monthly chart shared by EGRAG CRYPTO showed XRP price just below the $2 support at the time of writing. The Ripple news marked the monthly 21 EMA as a key trend reference. The price held above that level, maintaining the higher timeframe structure during a reset phase.
EGRAG described recent candles as closer to a “don’t sell” structure than a breakdown setup. The analyst marked $2.20 as a nearby overhead level and $2.50 as a higher target marker.

Additionally, the market analyst identified $1.94 as a potential downside level within the range. A sustained move above $2.20 would place $2.50 in view. However, a monthly close below the 21-day EMA would shift focus toward lower support levels.
