Bitcoin traded near $64,600 on July 26 as traders assessed weak derivatives activity. This Bitcoin price prediction focused on July 29, when technical timing models suggested volatility could rise.
The setup mattered because Bitcoin remained between support near $59,600 and resistance above $66,900. Low futures participation reduced confirmation, while dormant holders showed limited selling pressure. That imbalance left traders reliant on technical levels for short-term direction.
Bitcoin Price Prediction Tracks Muted Volume Near $64,000
The current BTC price held around $64,632 during Sunday trading. Market data showed an intraday range between $64,193 and $64,829.
The attached TradingView chart placed Bitcoin above horizontal support near $59,595. It also marked lower support around $57,735 after June’s rebound from that area.
Price remained below nearby resistance at $66,921 and $69,228. The chart showed stronger barriers near $73,128 and $77,546.
That structure kept BTC crypto inside a broad recovery range. Buyers defended June lows, but they had not reclaimed May’s broken trend structure.

CryptoQuant contributor Arab Chain reported a Binance futures volume Z-score of minus 1.19. The reading placed activity 1.19 standard deviations below its 12-month average.
Arab Chain said the measure had weakened since October 2025. Negative readings indicated subdued participation, rather than a direct bearish price signal.
The distinction matters because low volume can produce unstable breakouts. A move above resistance would require stronger participation to confirm demand.
Technical Market Structure Keeps $58,000 Risk Active
Trader Killa identified July 29 as the next timing point for Bitcoin. Killa said six of seven comparable periods produced negative reactions afterward.

The trader outlined two scenarios before that date. Bitcoin could sweep recent highs or fall toward the $61,000–$62,000 range.
That view aligned with the chart’s compressed July structure. BTC price had formed higher lows, but resistance continued limiting follow-through.
Trader DeFiTracer identified over $2 billion in liquidation liquidity near $58,000. The estimate came from a liquidation heatmap shared Sunday.
Liquidity maps do not predict direction. They show price areas where leveraged positions may face forced closures.
A break below $59,595 would expose the $57,735 chart level. Such a move could attract price toward the reported liquidation cluster.
However, the downside case lacked confirmation while Bitcoin held above June support. The market also avoided a fresh daily closing low.
Bitcoin Price Prediction Finds Less Selling From Old Coins
Galaxy Research data showed dormant Bitcoin activity fell sharply during the second quarter. Alex Thorn said movement reached its lowest level since 2022’s third quarter.

Coin days destroyed also declined, Galaxy’s July 17 research showed. That metric assigns greater weight to older coins when they move.
Thorn linked earlier spikes to long-term holders taking profits. He compared that distribution with behaviour seen during the 2017 bull market.
Galaxy said 2026 remained on pace for under half 2025’s awakened-coin volume. The data suggested older holders had slowed distribution.
Reduced dormant movement can limit one source of sell-side supply. It does not guarantee demand will strengthen or prices will rise.
Crypto Patel reported that wallets holding 100–1,000 Bitcoin had returned to profit. Larger whale groups had already moved above their estimated cost bases.
That recovery supported a less defensive on-chain reading. However, the signal still required spot demand and volume confirmation.
Resistance Levels Define the Next BTC Crypto Test
Trader Ted identified $74,000 as Bitcoin’s first major recovery test. He placed the next resistance near $83,000, around May’s local peak.
The TradingView chart broadly supported the first level. Its marked resistance stood at $73,128, near Ted’s stated threshold.
A sustained break above that area would improve the medium-term structure. Failure could keep Bitcoin exposed to another lower-support test.
The immediate Bitcoin price prediction therefore depends on two boundaries. Bitcoin must hold $59,595 while reclaiming the $66,921–$69,228 resistance band.
July 29 provides the next verifiable timing catalyst from Killa’s model. Traders will watch volume, daily closes and liquidation pressure around that date.
