SpaceX stock has remained in a narrow range in the past few days as investors react to some notable news from the company. It was trading at $137 on Wednesday, a few points below this month’s high of $150. Still, despite the risks, there are several reasons why it may be on the cusp of a big jump in the coming years.
SpaceX Stock to Benefit From Its Robust Revenue Growth
SPCX stock has a major catalyst in that the company’s growth is supercharging and the trend may continue in the foreseeable future. In its S1 report before its IPO, the company said that its revenue jumped to $18 billion last year.
The recently released earnings report showed that its revenue jumped to $7.8 billion in the second quarter. In other words, its second-quarter revenue was about 43% of what it made in the same period last year.
Analysts are highly bullish on the company, with all its businesses continuing to grow by double digits. For example, analysts believe that its annual revenue is expected to jump to $44 billion this year followed by $105 billion next year. Indeed, Goldman Sachs analysts believe that the company’s revenue will jump to over $400 billion by 2030.
This growth will be driven by its AI business, which comprises its Grok and data center businesses. For example, its data center leasing company has already inked several major deals, including companies like Google, Anthropic, and Reflection AI. Google is paying it over $900 million a year, while Anthropic pays it a $1.25 billion a month.
SpaceX Has a Solid Balance Sheet
One of the top reasons behind the falling SpaceX stock crash is that it is accelerating its cash burn. In a statement, the company said that its capital expenditure rose to $18 billion in the second quarter.
Most importantly, this capex is expected to continue rising this year. For example, together with Tesla, the company is building a large semiconductor plant in Texas. And in a statement this week, it said that it planned to spend $100 billion in building a new spaceport in Louisiana.
On the positive side, the company has a solid balance sheet, with over $100 billion in cash and short-term investments. This means that it has adequate cash to spend in the near term, without the need for dilution.

Analysts are Bullish on the SPCX Stock
Meanwhile, there are signs that analysts are highly bullish on the SPCX stock. Data shows that most analysts tracking the stock has more room to run in the near term. For example, Bernstein analysts have a target of $248, much higher than where it is today.
Arete Research has a target of $450, while UBS analysts hiked it to $210. As a result, the average estimate among analysts is that its stock will jump to $220, up by 63% from the current level.

Most analysts cite its strong market share in key industries, such as satellite launches and satellite communications via its Starlink service.
Bitcoin Rally May Boost SpaceX Stock
Another minor aspect that may boost the shares is the ongoing Bitcoin price rebound. BTC has jumped from the year-to-date low of $57,662 to the current $78,582. The ongoing rally is important because SpaceX already owns 18,712 coins, currently worth over $1.4 billion.

Therefore, a Bitcoin surge will be highly bullish for the company as it will boost its value. In addition to its strong technicals, it has bullish fundamentals, including the rising ETF inflows, which have jumped by $3 billion this month.
