Stablecoin payments are appearing more frequently in Big Tech hiring and product strategies as Apple and Google seek specialists with digital-asset expertise.
Apple’s latest payments-strategy vacancy lists stablecoins, tokenized deposits and blockchain knowledge among its preferred qualifications. Google is separately hiring a Web3 architect in Hong Kong to work with institutional clients across tokenization, custody and stablecoin infrastructure.
Samsung has gone further by announcing plans to add stablecoin capabilities to Samsung Wallet. Together, the developments show increasing interest in blockchain-based financial infrastructure, although neither Apple nor Google has announced its own stablecoin.
Apple, Google Seek Experts In Stablecoin Payments
Recent job postings from Apple and Google show that Big Tech firms are now seeking experts to deal with stablecoin payments, tokenization, and other blockchain-based crypto payments.

Apple itself has more than 2 billion users worldwide and is now hiring for an Apple Pay strategy role. They are reportedly looking for an expert having experience with stablecoins and blockchain technology. The job listing could signal Apple’s interest in exploring stablecoin integration within its payment ecosystem. The role offers compensation of up to $280,000.
Apple’s strategy role covers products including Apple Card, Apple Cash, peer-to-peer payments and other consumer financial services. The company is also seeking a candidate to evaluate new products, partnerships and commercial models across wallets, payments and commerce.
Interestingly, these job postings come just soon after the CLARITY Act failed to get 60 votes in Senate. It shows even big players are looking ahead for the long term growth of the crypto industry.
Google Cloud Expands Focus on Blockchain, Tokenization
Along with Apple, the Google Cloud division of Alphabet Inc. has also posted a job listing to hire an Industry Principal Architect in Hong Kong to work with protocol foundations, exchanges, custodians and financial institutions on tokenizing real-world assets. This new position seems to be specifically open for the Asia-Pacific region.
The role requires experience with blockchain networks, smart contracts, stablecoin infrastructure, tokenized deposits and custody technologies. Moreover, the hire would advise executives and help shape Google Cloud’s Web3 product roadmap. This comes as Google Cloud aims to become a preferred cloud provider for digital-asset builders and institutional adopters.
The position is also focused on cloud infrastructure, transaction-signing systems, and blockchain nodes. Besides, the hired executive will also look after compliance requirements in markets including Hong Kong.
The listing does not confirm that Google Cloud is launching a new crypto product. However, the role highlights the growing relevance of stablecoins and tokenized deposits within major technology and financial-services ecosystems.
Furthermore, tech giant Samsung is also preparing to add stablecoin support to Samsung Wallet. Combined, Samsung, Google and Apple have more than 3.5 billion active devices worldwide.
