Top crypto stocks face a busy earnings week as Bitcoin trades near $77,000 following October’s selloff. IREN and Circle will report quarterly results, while Coinbase investors assess earnings and exchange-security concerns.
IREN reports Nov. 5, and Circle follows its scheduled Nov. 4 release. The three companies face different pressures despite sharing exposure to cryptocurrency markets.
Coinbase Stock in Focus After the Binance Hack
Coinbase stock plunged sharply last week, reaching its lowest level since February 12 this year. At its lowest level last week, COIN was down by nearly 70% from its highest point last year.
Coinbase stock dropped after Binance, the biggest company in the crypto industry, suffered a $6.3 billion hack by North Koreans. The company and its partners, including Circle Internet Group and Tether, managed to pause about $3 billion of these stolen funds.
The hack led to a plunge in crypto exchange stocks like Coinbase, Gemini, and Bullish. A key risk is that hackers are becoming more sophisticated, with each hack being different from the others. This means that Coinbase and other exchanges could be vulnerable to such attacks, especially in the era of artificial intelligence (AI) and quantum computing.
The hack came on the same day that Coinbase published its financial results. The results showed that its net income jumped to $719 million, with its adjusted EBITDA rising by 60% on a QoQ basis. Its crypto trading volume jumped to 10.7% as it gained in both the spot and derivatives markets.
Another notable aspect is that the company’s prediction markets surpassed $200 million in annualized revenue, becoming one of the fastest-growing products in Coinbase’s history.
IREN Stock in Focus as it Publishes its Earnings Amid AI Jitters
IREN shares have been in a strong sell-off in the past few months. It has tumbled by nearly 70% from its highest point last year and is now hovering at its lowest level since August.

The stock has plunged recently because of its pivot from Bitcoin mining to AI data centers. Its recent sell-off has been driven by ongoing Bitcoin weakness and jitters in the AI industry.
One of the key risks is that the company has not announced major deals this year. It announced a $9.3 billion deal with Microsoft last year, and a $2.8 billion from a group of companies. Also, Elon Musk has warned that many neocloud companies will collapse because of the ongoing funding issues.
IREN will publish its financial report this week, with analysts expecting its revenue to drop 9.13% to $212 million. Traders will watch the trends in its AI data center business.
Circle Internet Group to Publish Earnings
Circle Internet Group stock has been in a bearish trend over the past few months, declining from a high of $103 in September to its current level of $83.45. The company will be in the spotlight as it releases its financial results on November 4.
These results are expected to provide more color on its business, with analysts expecting its revenue growth to be relatively slow. Analysts expect the revenue to come in at $788 million, up modestly from $739 million in the same period last year.
The earnings come at an important period for the company as the USD Coin (USDC) market capitalization fell to $71.2 billion. Also, there are signs that the Arc Blockchain is losing momentum, with the total value locked falling to $575 million. Its stablecoin growth has also stalled at around $1.098 billion.
