Crypto news focused on U.S.-linked government wallets after they moved more than $103 million in Bitcoin and BNB on Oct. 6. The transfers involved 833.599 BTC worth roughly $71.56 million and 40,285 BNB valued near $31.63 million.
The Bitcoin later reached addresses identified by Arkham as Coinbase Prime deposit addresses. However, blockchain data alone does not establish that the government sold or intends to sell the assets.
Crypto News: What Next After the US Government Transfers?
The 833.599 BTC came from two groups of seized assets. About 568.7 BTC originated from the wallet linked by Arkham to Potapenko/Turogin’s forfeited funds, while another 264.9 BTC came from assets seized during the Bitfinex hack case. The government transferred the Bitcoin to two addresses, and both addresses later moved the coins to Coinbase Prime deposit addresses.
The BNB transaction followed a separate route. A government-labeled wallet transferred about 40,285 BNB to an unlabeled address. That wallet then sent the full amount to another unlabelled address, 0x6fB3Fe7b7E78AbB84CE007cBC7412C850B15A579.
Arkham linked the BNB to assets seized from Alameda Research. Additionally, the U.S. government still holds about $27.5 billion in seized cryptocurrency.

Bitcoin reaching Coinbase Prime addresses has drawn attention, as these destinations can support institutional trading and custody. However, blockchain transaction data does not confirm that the government exchanged the Bitcoin for dollars or another asset.
The crypto news also comes under a U.S. policy framework established in March 2025. Under the executive order cited in the report, forfeited Bitcoin is intended for inclusion in a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve.
Bitcoin Price Prediction: $68.9K Remains a Key Level
Bitcoin’s Trader On-chain Realized Price stands near $68,900, while the upper band sits around $96,500. Bitcoin has moved above the trader cost basis, placing $68.9K as a key level for the current recovery structure.

Historical examples from 2019, 2020 and early 2023 also featured periods when Bitcoin moved above the trader realized price before testing the underlying cost basis again.
A return toward $68,900 would therefore test whether Bitcoin can maintain its position above the trader cost basis. Holding the level and moving higher would keep the recovery structure above the baseline, with $96,500 remaining the upper reference band.
Conversely, sustained BTC crypto trading below $68,900, followed by a failed recovery, could leave Bitcoin exposed to additional selling pressure. The $96,500 level remains a reference zone rather than a fixed price target.
BNB Price $1,375 Resistance Leads Toward $2,112
BNB price is around $772 after breaking above the $702.03 level marked on the monthly technical setup. The chart places $1,375.11 as the next major resistance area above the current price. A move through that level would bring the $2,112.47 Target 1 into focus.
Additionally, the BNB price prediction marks an accumulation zone below the current price, with support extending across the lower range.

A sustained move above $2,112.47 would open the path toward the longer-term $4,712.56 Target 2 shown on the chart. However, BNB price would first need to clear the intermediate resistance levels and maintain the breakout structure.
A failure to hold the support area could send BNB crypto back toward lower levels before another recovery attempt. The chart also marks $212.11 as the last major support zone.
