XRP price has registered a buy signal on its three-day chart while its largest holders accumulate. Wallets holding at least 10 million XRP now control 46.87 billion tokens, or 68.5% of the supply tracked by Santiment. The concentration marks the highest share for this group since November 2022. The developments come as XRP crypto trades near $1.30 and Ripple announces new banking and custody arrangements.
XRP Whale Wallets Hold Largest Supply Share Since 2022
Santiment reported that addresses with balances of 10 million XRP or more increased their combined holdings despite recent price weakness. The group now controls 46.87 billion XRP, and its share of tracked supply has climbed steadily over recent months. XRP remained near $1.29 when the analytics firm released the figures on October 26.
The data covers wallet balances rather than the identities of individual investors. A single institution can operate several wallets, while exchanges and custodians can hold tokens for multiple customers.

Santiment identified $1.30 as an immediate price level to monitor and $1.50 as a higher threshold for a recovery. The firm also cited $1.20 as a support level while large-wallet balances remain elevated.
XRP Price Three-Day Buy Signal Brings $1.25 Into Focus
A new TD Sequential buy signal has appeared on XRP’s three-day price chart. Analyst Ali Martinez identified the latest nine-count reading after three earlier signals preceded price rebounds of 31.26%, 24.38%, and 18.65%. Those moves occurred at different points during 2026 and do not establish the outcome of the latest reading.
The latest chart places XRP crypto near $1.299, below the levels reached during its earlier October trading. Martinez identified $1.25 as the immediate support threshold. Holding that level could allow XRP price to test $1.40, while a breakdown could bring $0.98 into view. The next move has not yet confirmed either scenario.

XRP crypto also faces resistance on the daily chart. The 100-day exponential moving average stands near $1.33, followed by the 50-day average around $1.36 and the 200-day average near $1.37. The SuperTrend indicator sits around $1.45. These levels remain above the current market price despite the three-day buy signal.
Ripple Secures Final OCC Approval for National Trust Bank
Ripple announced on October 26 that the US Office of the Comptroller of the Currency had granted final approval to charter Ripple National Trust Bank. The regulator granted conditional approval in December 2025. The national trust bank will operate under federal supervision as Ripple develops services for institutional digital assets.
The approved activities include managing reserves for RLUSD, and acting as collateral trustee for stablecoin holders. Ripple also plans to offer fiduciary digital asset custody services through the bank once operations begin.
Standard Custody & Trust Company, a New York-regulated entity, will continue issuing RLUSD. Ripple reported that the stablecoin has reached approximately $2.5 billion in market capitalization.
Ripple Expands BNY Partnership Into XRP Custody
Ripple and BNY announced an expanded collaboration on October 27 covering digital asset custody and tokenized trade finance. BNY already serves as the primary reserve custodian for RLUSD and maintains a custody relationship with Ripple Prime. Its Digital Asset Custody platform now supports both XRP and RLUSD for eligible institutional clients.
The companies plan to extend custody support to tokenized assets and investment products issued on the XRP Ledger. They also intend to let BNY clients mint and redeem RLUSD directly through BNY. The proposed services would cover asset transfers, settlement, and collateral management.
Ripple and BNY are exploring tokenized trade finance with C2FO, a working capital platform. Their initial work focuses on supply chain finance and digitally representing approved receivables on the XRP Ledger.
