WLFI price fell toward a record low on Nov. 5 after Democrats captured both chambers of Congress. The Trump-linked World Liberty Financial token traded near $0.047 in one market snapshot. CoinGecko recorded an all-time low near $0.0458.
The sell-off came alongside a renewed legal challenge from investor Justin Sun. That development raised questions about the project’s governance and political exposure.
The decline pushed WLFI’s circulating market capitalization toward $1.5 billion. However, pricing services reported different intraday lows. CoinGecko placed its previous peak around $0.3313 in September 2025.
WLFI Price Plunged After Midterm Election
The ongoing WLFI price plunge has coincided with that of other Trump-affiliated assets. The TRUMP meme coin, which President Donald Trump launched before his inauguration, dropped to $1.220, down by over 78% from its highest point this year. It has lost billions of dollars in value since its start.
Similarly, the Trump Media stock dropped to $4.49 from a record high of $80. American Bitcoin, which is associated with Eric Trump, dropped to $6.24, its lowest level since August 6.
WLFI’s volume jumped by 40% in the last 24 hours to $97.8 million, a sign that many investors are selling the coin.
The ongoing price action is happening as investors come to terms with the midterm election in which Democrats won convincingly. They won 7 seats in the Senate and may win another two in Alaska and Mississippi. Democrats also won the House of Representatives by a large margin.
World Liberty Financial Could be Investigated
One of the top concerns among voters was President Donald Trump’s corruption. These concerns rose sharply after he disclosed that he made over $2.2 billion in income last year, with most of it coming from his crypto ventures.
World Liberty Financial, which was started by Trump and Steve Witkoff’s families, will be under scrutiny for two main reasons. First, Democrats will be investigating the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) for giving the company a preliminary bank charter and whether President Trump intervened.
Second, and most importantly, World Liberty’s main product is its stablecoin, which is known as USD1. USD1 has a market capitalization of over $3.6 billion, making it one of the biggest players in the sector. It is bigger than PayPal’s PYUSD and Ripple Labs’ RLUSD.
The main concern among Democrats is a deal involving MGX, a United Arab Emirates (UAE) investor. MGX invested $2 billion in Binance last year and decided to use the USD1 stablecoin.
Binance, which took part in the design of USD1, has since maintained its position in the USD1 stablecoin. As a result, World Liberty has made millions of dollars from this transaction, possibly violating the emoluments clause. Violating that clause could be an impeachable offense.
WLFI is also falling because of Trump’s loss of power and popularity, even among his core voters. Data shows that his approval rating has dropped to low 30%.
Meanwhile, Justin Sun, a big investor in World Liberty has sued the company for withholding its tokens. He claims that he has been unable to trade his tokens, which he invested $45 million in before its availability in the public markets.

WLFI Price Technical Analysis

The daily chart shows that the World Liberty Financial token has been in a strong sell-off since its start. It has now plunged below the important support level of $0.05126, its lowest level in May, June, July, and August. Moving below that level confirmed the bearish outlook.
The coin has slumped below the 50-day moving average. At the same time, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) and the MACD have continued falling. Therefore, the token will likely continue falling, possibly to the next key target level of $0.01.
