- On-chain activity triples in 3 months, with daily transactions peaking above 1.6 million, confirming rising network adoption
SEI Network is gaining momentum in the Layer 1 space by surpassing competitors in both activity and capital inflow. On June 27, SEI outperformed SUI in daily transactions for the first time, while also setting a new all-time high in TVL just two days later.
Backed by solid user metrics and growing investor demand, SEI continues to rise as a serious contender in the blockchain ecosystem.
Sei Price Transaction Volume Surges Past Rivals
SEI processed 4.6 million daily transactions on June 27, pushing it ahead of SUI’s 4.3 million. Ethereum and Avalanche C-Chain followed with 1.4 million each, while TON lagged at 696,500. This spike marks SEI’s dominance in Layer 1 transaction throughput for the day.

Over the past three months, SEI’s daily transactions have tripled according to Nansen data. The network’s throughput climbed to over 1.6 million transactions per day in June, showing a steep upward trend. These gains point to accelerating user adoption and expanding application activity.
This growth in transaction count also reflects increased smart contract usage, driven by gaming, DeFi, and social applications.
SEI’s unique execution model and parallelization features have positioned it as one of the fastest networks available. The chain’s performance continues to attract both developers and capital.
TVL Climbs to New Record High
Furthermore, SEI also achieved a new milestone on June 29, when total value locked (TVL) crossed $600 million for the first time.
Data from DeFiLlama confirms that TVL has grown steadily since early 2024, with sharp increases beginning in Q2 2025. This places SEI among the fastest-growing Layer 1s by DeFi traction.

The network’s expanding TVL is supported by growing liquidity across its DeFi protocols. Stablecoin usage on SEI rose 17% in just one week, hitting $261 million according to on-chain analytics. This inflow signals user trust and consistent protocol usage across the SEI ecosystem.
The rise in TVL has also coincided with price appreciation and stronger market presence. More users are bridging funds and engaging with SEI-native applications. The network’s composability and performance efficiency continue to attract new capital.
Sei Price Action Signals Bullish Momentum
SEI is currently trading at $0.3054 with a drop of 1.66% in the last 24 hours. Its market cap has already touched nearly a $1.71 billion, and its fully-diluted valuation (FDV) has now exceeded $3 billion.
The 24-hour trading volume is at $374 million; there is a trend of increased investor interest both in terms of CEX and DEX activity.
Technically, SEI/USD is in an upward channel, and price is consolidating slightly below resistance at $0.31. However, a breakout at this level may send the price to the next resistance point at $0.40.
Nevertheless, a retracement to the backing of nearly $0.212 is still on the cards as a healthy retracement.

The MACD momentum is highly bullish, and the Alligator indicator demonstrates that all moving averages are combined in the direction of continuation.
Moreover, options data from Coinglass indicate a greater number of long positions, and the ratio of long/short on Binance and OKX is more than 1.26. The activity in derivatives proves that short-term direction is now controlled by bulls.
Open interest declined a bit to $295 million, and liquidations were in favour of long traders. The liquidation of more than $1 million was realized in the past 24 hours, of which shorts contributed $651K. This shows ongoing bullish pressure and positioning of traders in accordance with upside.
