XRP Price On Track for Perfect Sparktember Close, History Aligns

XRP price is back in focus as September is likely to come to an end with a small gain after mixed results in past years.

Traders are discussing whether the coin is building a base for a rebound.

At the same time, Ripple Labs is expanding its stablecoin RLUSD through new partnerships in global markets, a move fueling bullish sentiments.

September Chart Shows Mixed History

The XRP price outlook shows that September has not been a steady month in terms of gains over the years. In September 2020, XRP closed with a loss of 14.8%.

The next year was also negative, with a drop of 20.1%. The picture changed in 2022, when September posted a strong gain of over 46%.

In 2023, September was almost flat at 0.42%. In 2024, the coin managed a rise of 7.98%.

For September 2025, the chart shows a gain of 3.69%, following a decline of 8.15% in August.

The latest figure is not as large as some past moves but still points to some stability.

Notably, the shift has been enough to draw attention from market watchers who are studying whether this coin is starting to build new momentum.

XRP has a record of recovering after weak periods. In several years, declines were followed by sharp rallies.

These examples are often used by traders who think a new rebound could follow the recent consolidation.

While this is not guaranteed, it keeps speculation alive around the coin’s next stage.

Debate Over Double-Digit XRP Price Rebound

It is worth noting that the idea of XRP price recording another double-digit rebound has been raised again.

The coin has a history of strong jumps after periods of weakness. March 2017 showed one of the biggest breakthroughs, with a gain of 278.1%.

In April 2021, XRP climbed by 174.1% after earlier losses. These large recoveries are often cited when traders make the case for another possible rally.

Market analyst Dark Defender recently shared this outlook. On social media X, he said XRP is nearing the end of a corrective move he labeled as ABCDE.

He added that the coin is close to finishing its consolidation and argued that regaining $3.333 would clear the way for a larger advance. He called this the “Road to Double Digits.”

Another market participant responded with a different view. They noted that the ABCDE pattern may not be valid because the lower trendline is not flat or rising.

They suggested it may be a more complex correction instead of a standard triangle. This exchange highlights the difference in opinion among traders.

Some see the recent gain as the start of a rebound while others believe the correction has not yet played out.

Ripple Pushes RLUSD With Global Partnerships

While the XRP price debate continues, Ripple Labs has been active with its stablecoin Ripple USD (RLUSD).

Ripple recently announced a new deal with Securitize. The partnership connects RLUSD with BlackRock’s BUIDL and VanEck’s VBILL funds, respectively.

Investors can now swap fund shares for RLUSD at any time, creating 24-hour access to liquidity for more than $500 million in tokenized assets.

Ripple is also working to expand RLUSD in other markets. The company has agreements with Chipper Cash, VALR, and Yellow Card in Africa.

Again, these deals focus on cross-border payments and remittances. In South Korea, Ripple has started a custody and payments pilot with BDACS and local firms.

In addition, in Japan, a memorandum with SBI Holdings will allow RLUSD to be distributed through SBI VC Trade starting in 2026.

To complement all these in the United States, Ripple pledged $25 million in RLUSD to nonprofits. The funding is aimed at small business lending and veteran support.

RLUSD now has a market cap of over $700 million and supports over $500 million in tokenized assets. It is backed by deposits and short-term Treasuries and is regulated in New York.
