Will Braemar Hotels & Resorts (BHR) Stock Fall Further?
  • The BHR share price is currently trading at $11.25.
  • The price has been falling since the start of February 2023.

Braemar Hotels & Resorts Inc. (NYSE: BHR) is a real estate investment company. Its main motive is to invest its money in owning hotel properties through acquisition. The company’s main objectives are to generate returns on investment (ROI) on invested capital, to grow long-term cash flow, and to give higher returns to its shareholders.

Braemar Hotels & Resorts Inc. (BHR) Stock Analysis

The BHR stock closed its last intraday session at $11.25 with a gain of 3.21%. It is a small-cap firm with a market capitalization of 180.163 Million USD and trades with an average 10-day trading volume of 12.028K.

The BHR Stock Price Analysis in 1-Day Chart

The BHR stock price has been in a downtrend since the start of February 2023. The price has continued its downtrend in the falling channel and is trading inside it with a resistance of $12.23 and a support of $10.58.

The 50-day EMA and 100-day EMA lines are trading above the price, which shows the overall influence of the sellers over the price. In the last intraday session, the price faced rejection from the 100-day EMA. It put a stop to further rise in the stock price.

The relative strength index is at 44.50 and is currently in the neutral state. The RSI line is sloping in the upward direction, showing the buying pressure applied by bulls. It has more room for them to raise the price if the RSI line crosses above its 50 level.

In the current scenario, the price is taking support from the $10.58 level. It tried to move in the upward direction, which was stopped by the 50-day EMA line. If the BHR price sustains above the $10.58 support, reclaims the EMA lines, and gives the breakout of the $12.23 resistance, it may rise to the next resistance at $14.38.

However, if the price fails to sustain above the $10.58 support and gives the breakdown of the support level, it may fall to its next support at $8.47.

Conclusion

The BHR stock price has been facing high selling pressure since the start of February 2023. Therefore, the overall trend of this stock is a downtrend. The EMA is showing that the price can continue its downtrend. The RSI is showing the indecisive behavior of the price. So, for the price to continue its overall downtrend, it must give the breakdown of the current support of 10.58. Buyers can get the control back if they close the BHR stock price above the 12.23 resistance.
