03 The Graph On-Chain & Network Activity

Live on-chain metrics — TVL, transactions and network activity — are surfaced for major chains and DeFi protocols. The Graph does not yet have a keyless on-chain feed; coverage expands as open sources add support.

04 The Graph Institutional & ETF Activity

The Institutional layer tracks spot ETF flows, public-company treasury holdings, and institutional ownership trends — the demand signals that increasingly set the marginal price for assets like The Graph. This section is being wired to dedicated ETF and treasury data feeds; it will surface daily net flows, cumulative AUM, and the top corporate holders.

For ETF demand context now, see our ETF Flows dashboard and Treasury Holdings tracker.

05 The Graph Derivatives & Futures

The Derivatives layer covers futures open interest, perpetual funding rates and 24h liquidations — the leverage picture behind GRT's spot price. The Graph has no major USDT-perpetual market on Binance, so live derivatives metrics are not available for this asset.

06 What Is The Graph?

About The Graph

The Graph (GRT) is a artificial intelligence (ai) cryptocurrency ranked #150 by market capitalisation. Its circulating supply is 10,941,320,353 GRT, with no fixed maximum. GRT currently trades about 99% below its all-time high of $2.84.

The Graph is a decentralised indexing protocol that allows applications to query blockchain data efficiently using a query language called GraphQL. Developers building on networks such as Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, and others use The Graph to retrieve structured data — such as token balances, transaction histories, or smart contract events — without having to run and maintain their own full nodes. The Graph achieves this through a network of Indexers, who process and store blockchain data; Curators, who signal which datasets are valuable; and Delegators, who stake tokens to support Indexers.

GRT is the native utility token of The Graph protocol, required for Indexers to provide service and used by Delegators who stake behind them. Query fees paid by data consumers are distributed to Indexers, with a portion going to Delegators and Curators. The Graph has become a widely used piece of infrastructure in the decentralised application ecosystem — many prominent DeFi and NFT applications rely on The Graph to power their data interfaces. However, GRT holders should note that the token's economic returns depend on network fee levels, competition from centralised data providers, and the extent to which application developers continue to pay for decentralised indexing rather than migrating to lower-cost hosted alternatives.

09 The Graph FAQ & Related Coins

The Graph FAQ

What problem does The Graph solve for blockchain developers?

Querying raw blockchain data directly is computationally expensive and slow. The Graph solves this by maintaining pre-indexed subgraphs u2014 organised datasets covering specific protocols or smart contracts u2014 that developers can query via GraphQL. This makes it far faster to retrieve relevant on-chain information for application frontends without each developer needing to build and maintain their own indexing infrastructure.

What roles exist within The Graph's network?

The Graph protocol has four main participant roles. Indexers process blockchain data and serve queries, earning fees and GRT inflation rewards. Curators signal which subgraphs are high-quality by depositing GRT. Delegators stake GRT behind Indexers to share in their rewards without running infrastructure. Developers publish subgraphs and pay query fees to access the indexed data they need.

How widely is The Graph used in practice?

The Graph indexes data for a large number of deployed applications across Ethereum and other compatible networks. Major DeFi protocols including Uniswap, Aave, and Compound have used The Graph for data queries. The hosted service operated by Edge and Node has handled billions of queries, though the project has been migrating activity toward the fully decentralised network.

What are the key risks of holding or staking GRT?

GRT staking carries slashing risk u2014 Indexers who serve incorrect data can have a portion of their staked GRT burned, which also affects Delegators behind them. The token's value is sensitive to overall DeFi activity levels and to competition from centralised indexing services that may offer lower query costs. Delegated GRT has an unbonding period before it can be withdrawn, limiting liquidity during market downturns.

Is The Graph a good investment?

The Graph (GRT) is a volatile, high-risk asset (ranked #150 by market capitalisation), currently trading at $0.025770. Whether it suits you depends on your risk tolerance, time horizon and how it fits your wider portfolio. Never invest more than you can afford to lose. This is information, not financial advice.

The Graph price prediction: what could GRT be worth?

No one can reliably predict cryptocurrency prices. Its all-time high was $2.84, and GRT now trades about 99% below that level. The Graph's long-term value depends on adoption, liquidity, regulation and broad market cycles rather than any single forecast. Treat price targets you see elsewhere as speculation, not guarantees.

How do I buy The Graph?

The Graph (GRT) can be bought on major cryptocurrency exchanges that list it. Compare fees, security and supported regions, verify your account, deposit funds, then place a buy order for GRT. For larger holdings, consider moving coins to self-custody.

What determines the price of The Graph?

The GRT price is set by live supply and demand across exchanges, and moves with trading volume, liquidity, exchange flows, macro conditions, regulation and overall market sentiment.
