Harland & Wolff Won £1.6 Billion Deal.
Harland & Wolff Group Holdings signed a £1.6 Billion manufacturing contract for a fleet solid support programme with the UK Ministry of Defence in early 2023. The defence deal catalyzed the growth of HARL stock price with a surge of around 36%. The stock price touched an annual high at the £25.50 resistance level but couldn’t sustain it.
The price then suddenly dropped roughly 45% from the annual high of £25.50. It attained a support level of £14.00 in around 9 days. The price went further down and got stuck in the consolidation from £17.90 to £12.70.
The HARL stock achieved a dual top candlestick pattern at the £18.50 and £18.48 level on 1 March 2023 and 5 May 2023 respectively. The bears found a loophole and escaped the consolidation on 3 July 2023. The stock price halted near the £8.50 support level.
Later, the stock price witnessed a bounce back of about 80% in just a week. It retested the previous resistance level of the £16.00 mark.
Will HARL Retest The Annual Low?
The HARL stock price has observed a loss of -14.10% in the past week. It is hovering near the significant support level of £13.00. If the current downtrend momentum remains constant, the bears can push the price further. The price might melt and retest the annual low of £8.50 level.
Suppose the bullish momentum increases in the market, the stock price might surge towards a significant resistance level of £17.90. It will cause a sudden spike in the price action.
